Bartender completely ignored us, asked him for a margarita, said “nope, I don’t have one margarita”, we asked for a bar menu and he said “no”. Didn’t ask us what we wanted, didn’t look interested in serving us. Not sure what the issue was.

Loved this bar. Prices were great for drinks, nice old school feel and some vinyl records about.
But the bartender (or owner I believe?) decided to be very rude to me one night and cut me off, I can only guess for ordering two drinks at once?(which I often do at bars where they charge per drink, so I can grab 2 to charge on 1 bill) Never found out if that was why cause when I tried to ask why he was cutting me off, he said to let it go and back off, and got more hostile when I asked "what's going on here, what did I do!?". In my 12 years in the city and many many bars, not one other place has cut me off for ordering two drinks at once, or treated me so rudely. I even brought a bunch of my friends here that same night, I gave this place business and valued it, and yet I felt humiliated and dejected by this experience.
I won't tell people not to go here, as it's a nice bar, but I really hope this owner learns to do better and not treat a customer this way, I haven't been able to return since.

Was here on a Weds night but it was a nice spot for a reasonably priced drink in a cool atmosphere.
Great local Parkdale haunt, Michael is amazing, customers are very friendly...maybe a few notable musicians as regulars, closer than the Mezz for me, not sure if they have live
