I recently visited mother and, unfortunately, my experience was overshadowed by the poor service from the hostess. Despite there being several empty tables, she was rude and unwilling to accommodate our seating request. Her attitude made us feel unwelcome, and it was surprising to receive such treatment in an otherwise nice establishment. Sour dough bread with the butter was unreal. The cocktails have so much depth and were some of the best I’ve ever had. Service is best I’ve had in Toronto so far and atmosphere is warm and not rowdy. My top cocktail place hands down!

The place has a fun intimate date atmosphere. We got amazing service from Coral, our server, who was attentive and kind. Shoutout to James the bartender for an excellent Vieux Carre, as well as the great recommendations to the city of Toronto. Your local knowledge is invaluable.
