This place has a cool atmosphere and the staff are nice, but that’s about it. I ordered the duck dumplings and it was way too salty. I also ordered the chilli scallion noodles and there was no seasoning on it. I would not recommend coming here for food. The cocktails are subpar.

A spectacular experience from the moment we walked in, both the welcome we received and the beauty of the front bar. Winter’s knowledge and warmth made our experience fun and special. Chef Bermejo’s food will take you on an epic culinary experience that you never saw coming. The cocktails use elaborate ingredients made in house that will leave you wanting more! Highly recommend

Had dinner at Mother Tongue, the Butterfish was delicious and loved the slaw. The noodles with shrimp and scallops were a tad disappointing. The design inside is great and our waitress was attentive.

Food was okay. The bartender was too loud and chatty and it ruined the atmosphere. Thought this was a more upscale place.

My friends and I had a really disappointing experience at Mother Tongue during our Kamayan Feast reservation last night.
We had pre-booked the Classic Kamayan Feast through email (and the restaurant even created our reservation for us), but when we arrived, our server seemed confused and said it wasn’t tied to our booking. She double-checked with the back and later confirmed that while a Kamayan Feast was booked, it somehow wasn’t linked to our reservation.
While I understand that mistakes can happen, this mix-up caused our meal to be significantly delayed — our food didn’t arrive until around 8:30 PM, a full hour and a half after our reservation time. During that wait, a few of us used the restrooms near the kitchen and could overhear the staff scrambling and talking about the Kamayan Feast, which confirmed that the kitchen seemed unprepared for it.
Our server remained pleasant and even offered us Lychee Martini shots on the house, which we appreciated, but the long wait and lack of organization really dampened the experience. Given that many of us had traveled from different parts of the city and hadn’t eaten all day, it ended up being a frustrating and disappointing night.
The food itself was fine once it came out, but the overall experience didn’t live up to the special occasion we were hoping for. I also wish the automatic 18% gratuity for the Kamayan Feast was clearly stated online to help set expectations.
I really hope the restaurant improves its process for pre-booked experiences, because the Kamayan Feast should feel special, not stressful.

Food was decent but the team forgot to prepare the Kamayan feast that we had booked in advance (for 7pm), made us wait for 2 hours for the food, and still applied 18% auto gratitude on the bill. Was a bit disappointed that all we got was a free round of lychee martini shots while waiting.

Tokyo Blonde (Beer) - has some flavour to it really nice - A bit expensive but is definitely not disappointing

The food was good and the ube cocktail was absolutely delicious! The only downside was that the service could have been better.
Came here to celebrate a friends birthday and they did a great job taking our cake in advance and bringing it out to our friend. Service was good and so was food. Nothing outstanding but a good spot out of our friends with some great plates. Shrimp Noodles, sticky ribs and bao were great, dumplings and slaw were average. Their ube milk punch cocktail was delicious, with an unexpected presentation, tho I tasted no ube whatsoever

The servers were all nice but for some reason we were sat 6 inches away from another couple, who I presume also wanted a bit of space, really odd as there was tons of empty tables available? The servers were very nice though so no fault there, but the food was not great. Maybe the other kinds of dishes were better, but we went 0/3 on any of the Filipino inspired dishes tasting remotely like what the menu said they were. Maybe we were expecting something different, idk, disappointing experience for the price. The tocino chicken not only didn't taste like tocino, it didn't taste like much of anything except sugar. The downstairs bar was cool
