Best experience here. Don’t usually like Chinese food but the flavours were wonderful and our server Paul was amazing. Went above and beyond. So kind and polite. I wanted to keep a beer can as I collect them so he went and got an empty one in the back for me. So humble and attentive. All the servers were amazing.
On a cold and wet midday, we stumbled upon mothers dumplings. Far from our own mothers we knew we needed to try this place out. We were sat by the windows, and while we looked out on Spadina, we sipped the complimentary tea. Though the table was sticky the atmosphere was welcoming and the service speedy. My dad lived in Toronto for about 15 years and every time I flew out there to visit him, the one demand I made of him and my stepmother was that we go to Mother's Dumplings. Absolutely amazing food, a constant flow of tea and just a fun little place to sit and eat in. Any time I talk to someone who mentions they are going to Toronto I make them promise me that they will go to Mother's Dumplings.
