I slept with a bartender here last year (we are now into March 2026, month three starting tomorrow). After I chose to end it, I was « temporarily » barred from the establishment without any clear explanation or opportunity to address the issue. Again, nearly 3 months later. Apparently the bartender gets distracted when I’m in there. I was never intoxicated (don’t drink), disruptive, or inappropriate while on the premises. The bartender I slept with kept trying to talk to me and apparently wanted an apology from me (for what, I don’t know, we never dated). Businesses are absolutely entitled to set boundaries, but barring a patron in circumstances that appear tied to a private, consensual matter with an employee feels unprofessional and uncomfortable. Clear policies and neutral management decisions would go a long way here. It seems some education about not sleeping with customers and then getting upset when she ends things may help. Unfortunately, this experience left me feeling singled out rather than respected as a customer. I will happily take my money and tips elsewhere.

I recently attended a Love Language event at Mrs. Robinson in Toronto to celebrate my cousin’s birthday. The vibe of the event itself was nice, and I was excited to treat her to a bottle of Prosecco since it’s her favorite.

I asked the bartender how much a bottle was, and he told me $71. I said no problem and was ready to order. Shortly after, he told us to scan the QR code for the menu as I wanted to order cocktails as well. When I did, I saw the exact same bottle of Prosecco listed for $55 not $71.

I brought it to his attention, and he appeared visibly uncomfortable and said the prices had “recently gone up.” However, the online menu had not been updated. Then a woman stepped in and said she would “reduce the price,” and started mentioning taxes as part of the reason. For the record, the listed menu price should already reflect what customers are being charged before tax, and alcohol pricing should be transparent.

Suddenly, the bottle was $55.

That experience left a bad impression. It felt deceptive and unprofessional. Transparency in pricing is basic hospitality. Unfortunately, because of this, I won’t be returning. I would encourage other patrons to double check their bills and be mindful.

I rarely write reviews but really have to for this place. Great food (and I've been to South Africa - the food was really great!). Great vibes, incredible staff. It was my 55 birthday, but don't look at this as a mature crowd thing. Later it was packed with younger folks but the vibes are so good no awkwardness. I have recommended to my adult children to go with their people. I must give a shout out to the bartender from Pickering, Keon our waiter and the hostess who sat us. All were so friendly and warm and really just a vibe! Thanks for a great night!

SOOO close the getting full stars... The music and general atmosphere was great, but the lighting at and around the bar was pretty bad. The rest of the restaurant has nice, warm lighting... But the bar has cold white, almost florescent lighting that feels like a laundry mat. Ekkk.. It killed the intimate vibe and our interest in dancing on the (empty) dance floor, so we went down the street to The Little Jerry and the difference in ambiance was massive.
When we came back down the street, Mrs Robinson was bumpinnn

We celebrated my sister’s birthday here and had a fantastic evening! Amazing live music, delicious spicy food, and outstanding service. The staff were so attentive and made the night special. The musician started early as we would have missed most of his music! Which made our evening very special! The staff took their time explaining the menu as some of our group were visually impaired / blind! HUGE THANK YOU!

Visited a few times for music, the vibes always on point. Tried out some appetizers for the first time and was very pleased. My sis was visiting from out of town and she enjoyed the food and vibe as well.

Date night tonight at Mrs. Robinson with my wife and it was a great choice. We both had the burgers, which were excellent, along with really good fries. Cocktails were well made and the whole night came together nicely. Definitely recommended.

This bar has a slick 70s design, live music and friendly staff. My one complaint is that they have fluorescent light all around the bar, which is a pretty big design flaw.

The poutine was overly salty. The happy menu and service were awesome though. Also really enjoyed the live music.

I met two bartenders here who were an absolute delight. They were engaging and polite without being overbearing. They were attentive but not hovering. The music wasn't bad at all and the security didn't seem like he hated me. Being from the US, this place was a breath of fresh air; really chill and absent of any social pressure. Shout out to Bryan for suggesting cocktails and to Bosco as well. Would recommend any day of the week.
