Tiny little shop in Leslieville. Two guys in the back. Had the vindalo goat curry on rice at 'hot' spice level. At this point i was hangry and bordering on a foul mood. But the food came out fresh and hot (in that onion based gravy that i just love and seemingly only authentic Indian food can make) as i sat on the cute elementary grade school chairs just in grin on the sidewalks. It was delicious (yes pricey, but send ALL foods have gone up!). $20 with a coke. Yikes....
I had some left over “appam”- like a South Indian / Sri Lankan pancake but no curry to go with it. So, not wanting to leave Leslieville…I thought I’d try this place out for a dish…but got a lot more…the fellow taking my order - eggplant curry with sides of coconut chutney - listened to what I was craving for and made my dish extra spicy, added some extra hot curry paste to my chutney and let me try the red tomato paste chutney. He surprised me with a sweet gulab jaman...

1. The person who helped me, Karan, was 10/10. Answered questions (never had dosa before) and described the dish perfectly.
2. The food was delicious. Medium spice Butter Chicken Dosa was amazing. It came with two chutneys and a sambar. I took a picture only after taking a couple bites because it smelt so good and couldn’t wait lol.
