My Roti Place/My Dosa Place

I always go to this place with my kids they love their cheese dosa. The staff is very friendly as well. we always have great time

We visited this restaurant craving dosa but ended up exploring a variety of dishes! We ordered Aloo Tikki, Honey Garlic Cauliflower, Hyderabadi Dum Lamb Biryani, and, of course, the Podi Masala Dosa.
Everything was beautifully prepared—the lamb was so tender it practically melted in our mouths, and the Honey Garlic Cauliflower was so delicious we completely forgot to take a picture of it!
The Aloo Tikki didn’t quite give the street-food vibe we were hoping for, especially compared to the high standard set by the other dishes. That said, it was still much better than what most places serve.
The Podi Masala Dosa was an absolute must-try, perfectly complemented by the delicious sambar—YUM!
Overall, a fantastic experience, economical, tasty , quick services and public parking is also available ,we can’t wait to come back and try more dishes! 😊

This is a "fast food" type restaurant which probably has tge general public in mind thus offering explanations on their product. The raste profile and spice levels are also moderate to appeal to the general public.
They have a seasonal curbside patio.
Food was OK if you do not expect upscale Indian cuisine.

Fast service, food was really great! I am satisfied. Never tried this flavor of butter chicken like this at all and im not a dosa fan. But this type of dosa was new to me and i liked it. My mom loved everything the portion was good. Customer service was great!

Ordered via ubereats because I was craving a dahi puri. Ordered that, as well as the street samosa chaat and chicken tikka masala with garlic naan.

Firstly, the garlic naan was forgotten completely. But worse - the dahi puri and samosa chaat were so soggy by the time they arrived. I had (wrongly) presumed that the saucy elements of the dish would be in separate containers that I would have to add myself upon arrival. Instead both items were soggy and inedible. I could taste that the flavours were there, but the texture was so unpalatable… what a disappointment.

I ordered the Vada, minced lamb, veg samosas, mango lassi, and Romani roti. Unfortunately, the masala chai lacked flavor, the minced lamb gravy was overwhelmingly tomato-based, and the Vada had a bitter taste. When I raised the issue, they explained, “That’s how we make it,” but kindly replaced it with samosas.
The staff went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable, which I appreciated. Having visited other South Indian restaurants in Toronto , I found the flavors here to be far from authentic. While I admit my food standards are high, I believe the recipes themselves—not the staff—are the issue, as they seem standardized.

While other menu items might be better, my experience with this order left me disappointed. I don’t see myself returning, but I want to thank the team for their hospitality.
