Got charged $20( for two wings and all rice. The flavors are supposed to be jollof but it's not even close so either this is a misunderstanding or it's actual just bad. I hope it's the first one

Soups: I bought Okra and Efo riro soups, and they were nothing to write home about. To start with the okra was spoilt. My husband said the efo was stale too. The look of the okra was scary! It’s nothing compared to what you see on their Uber website, that’s likely a borrowed picture. It was almost stark white! Okra soup? Disappointing!

The pounded yam was ugly and sour! It was also very small.

The puff puff was hard, oily, saltless, etc. The asun was more of bones and felt more like goat in stew. Moimoi was not nice - I felt like the salt was too much and it was somewhat crumbly when you try to each it.

I must say I felt very disappointed seeing the food, especially seeing how different they all were from the photos on their Uber page.

I ordered the Jollof rice combo with two proteins priced at $17 before tax. Despite the rice being quite rich and flavourful, the chicken portion was dry, small and tasted like it had been sitting there uncovered overnight. The place was run by two very young adults who chatted loudly and took their time with my takeout despite everything being on display at the counter. I was disappointed by the highly rated reviews, and should have noticed that there were no customers dining in store on a Friday night. It is unfortunate that such an establishment is representing West African cuisine in the city.

I ordered through Uber eats and this is what I got for $25 plus delivery charges and tip. Complete ripoff! I’m never ordering there again

This place is nonsense and the food was a disappointment. Please do not let this restaurant be your representation of Nigerian food. Please go somewhere else. There are way better West African restaurants than this one.

Ordered small chops, it came cold, strong like stone and not edible. It was burnt. Waste of money to be honest. They don’t even make sure the quality of the food is good. Such a disappointment cause I threw it all out.

Disgusting food. Horrible quality. The restaurant was so cold. I’ve never had plantain so dry that I couldn’t even swallow one bite. Everything was dry like it had been cooked and microwaved several times or was kept on the stove too long. The chicken didn’t even look like chicken and barely had meat. I ate three bites of food and i was done. We payed and walked out with our food uneaten. We really should’ve left the food and walked out without paying. The place was dirty. There was a serious electrical hazard in the washroom. Zoom in on the photo to see the water puddle from the sink making its way to the extension cord and wires covered in electrical tape. And what the heck was in the slow cooker in the washroom anyway? As soon as i saw the washroom I regretted ordering due to the complete lack of care and cleanliness. I do not recommend this place at all. Unfortunately, I’ve had similar experience at a Brampton location. This chain does a disservice to Nigerian food

Personally i dont recommend.

The versatility of rice is never-ending, creating a wonderfully smoky jollof rice with a uniquely aromatic seasoning blend that I seldom get to experience. Served with chicken, its jerky-like texture results in a concentrated dose of umami that grows with each bite.

Tried this place for the first time after seeing some vice video about jollof rice. The food was tasty though quite adventurous for the average North American palette. It’s super spicy and the meat is almost jerky like in toughness so can take a while to chew. The soup isn’t really soup but more of a stew with intestine and meats so just be aware if ordering that. Worth trying if you’re curious about African food.

Very unprofessional customer service and tasteless food. This would be my third time ordering from this restaurant and it's totally opposite of what is on their website.

I ordered for ayamase, white rice and extra turkey on the side. Tell me why they would send me a regular sauce ith mixed pepper that's just full of seasoning and an extra fish in place of the turkey and its so small and very annoying. Not to talk of the portion and the look. If I'm Goanna be spending 40$ plus for my food, I should expect good quantity and good taste for God's sake! I had to add some brocoli to enable me eat it. Never ever again will I order from here. I tried 3 times and got disappointed 3 times!

My partner was craving Nigerian food and I picked up an order for us. 1 egusi and gari and 1 efo and poundo. The soups were very small portion and extremely oily. In terms of decor and atmosphere, I don't know if they just moved to the location but the sign outside says taco and there was water dripping from the bottom of the food station. Always like to support black business but I will not be returning here.
