Their sandwiches are an amazing and super-affordable lunch option, and the service is lovely. The pastries are fresh and delicious. I work nearby and would starve without National Bakery!
This is an absolutely heroic establishment. TOP TIER.
I ordered a surprise pastry box and a couple of lattes and everything was delicious!
I ordered it through delivery and was so impressed by how they packaged up the coffees. They took time to wrap them in a way that ensured they stayed warm. The surprise pastry box was much more than I expected - great value. Thanks!
Friendly people, sandwiches are great and Custard tarts is the best🥰❤️😍😉Early morning they greet you with smile and help you out with your order. Definitely will be back👍
Wonderful place to go in the neighborhood so clean and very friendly. Owners are amazing people. Let’s not forget the bread and pastries. Thanks for being in our neighborhood.
Really good taste bread and good price:)
Very friendly service and consistent food. I especially enjoy their toasta mista as a cheap and light lunch.
The best and the affordable bakery in toronto. All the items were fresh and really priced low. A gem in toronto. And the staff and owner are such nice people. Recommend 10/10

Flawless sourdough, perfect espresso, delicious pastries, sublime caldo verde, and the prices are perfect. Service is fast, friendly, and just enjoyable to experience.
This is a place that I wish a lot of other bakeries could be like. No attitude, no pretension, just solid, consistently good product, all of it delivered with a smile.
Protip - check out the Tosta Mista and and the breakfast sandwiches. They're awesome.

Had a really good experience picking up too good to go. The surprise bag had many varieties of bread including sliced bread, sandwich buns, chocolate croissant, fried bread, sweet filling donuts, savoury filled fried donut, egg tarts & a sandwich. Wow enough to feed 4 people plus. Also quite tasty! Recommend it.

I went there to pick up a too good to go bag. It was great value: a big loaf, 6 sandwich roll, 1 sandwich, 2 croissants, 1 deep-fried bread. Small plain croissant is not buttery and very light. A chocolate croissant is pretty good. I really liked ciabatta. It’s perfect for sandwiches.
The store is very clean and organized, but I wish they have price cards for breads. I would come back for mouthwatering Pastel de natas, Portuguese egg custard tarts:)
