As someone who grew up on HKBBQ - this place is legit, no nonsense. Best in the options across Chinatown hands down. My parents and their siblings ate here when they immigrated to Canada from Hong Kong. Classic HKBBQ, exactly how it should be, plain and simple. Their Char Siu (bbq pork) and Siu Yuk (roast pork) are essential and good. We’ve bought it in huge platters for parties and it’s well loved. Consistent quality cheap Chinese BBQ. BBQ pork and roast pork is always good here but I’ve had two instances where the duck was extremely gamey- it was clearly not properly cleaned and I couldn’t eat it at all. However, the duck was fine again when I recently tried it, but just beware of this inconsistency.

Nov2024 Authentic Chinese food if you ever have a craving for it. This no frills eatery is a good place to have your bbq fix and the rice topped meals are also popular.

Menu is extensive and covers most basic dishes.

Service is simple and efficient with counter payments before you leave.

Layout is basic but not comfortable for disabled esp the basement toitet with narrow stairs.
