Such a great spot! The food was amazing — the gochujang pasta was creamy with a nice kick, the beef tartare was super fresh, and I tried chicken suyuk for the first time — it was so tender and delicious. The vibe is cozy and the staff were very kind. Definitely coming back!✨😋

Super amazing restaurant with reasonable price.

1. Salmon tartare: multiple layers of the tastes buildup to a wonderful tasting experience

2. Duct conflict: love the beans and the crispy skin for the duck. Amazing taste combination

3. Salmon steak: the soba noodles is amazing. Cold and refreshing

4. Yuzu tiramisu: love how the dessert is light and not overly sweat to finish the menu.

5. Merlot wine: taste old and sour. And surprising serving cold. Obviously not fresh. That’s the only bad part for this meal.

Really nice place to have a date. Service was perfect.
Duck confit was really good and the burger is one of the best that we've had in Toronto.
The Ngogo Caesar salad is a must.
They have a Prix Fixe menu for 38.
Will be coming back.

We went for summerlicous and overall it was a good dining spot. We enjoyed the Fusion flavours like the bulgogi burger and the caesar salad with miso and sesame flavours was unique. Our favourite food was the toffee pudding which was rich and caramel-y.

I did the summerlicious. The main dish, salmon and pasta, was alright. I wish they put more season into the cooking of the salmon but overall it was a good experience and there is room for improvement

Summerlicious

The restaurant is decently tiny, so if you're a small group, you'll be fine, but larger groups will definitely need to call in in advance. As a result however, it does get fairly loud in here even when just a few people are present.

For summerlicious, they gave a free gazpacho to start to help beat the heat. I believe it was melon, but can't recall. Tasted good and was a nice gesture.

Got the chicken karaage as an appetizer. Was a bit on the sweeter side with the sauces on it, but tasted good regardless. Does get a little one note after a while.

Main was the ratatouille pasta. Flavours were good and portion was perfect for enjoying the meal and not feeling stuffed.

The dessert, I loved it. The lime ice does melt quickly, so you do have to eat fast. But it is a nice balance of sweet with the sugar on the pineapple, and sour with the lime ice on top.

Service was good - refilled waters, checked in on us, and food was prompt.

Overall, enjoyed the meal.

A group of my friends and I went for the 38$ summerlicious dinner offer. While the price was decent for 3 courses + amuse bouche we found that the overall experience was extremely lacking compared to their promotional material and even compared to some of the reviews here.

Food: it was okay and it did resemble all the pictures on instagram, the free soup was very well made and refreshing and the fried chicken and caeser salad appetizers were okay. The scallop carpaccio tasted too strongly of mint and the portion size was lacking compared to the other two apps. The mains were mid. I had the salmon steak with soba and found the broth to be too sour and salty without a depth of flavor. Bugogi burger was overly sweet. Desserts were a highlight for us, not super sweet and very delicious. We had the toffee pudding and the white chocolate mousse.

Service: this is where it really falls apart. They were not ready for us at the time of our reservation (6pm) and we had to wait in the heat for a spot. When we ordered, each time the waitresses brought us our food they didn't remember who had what. Even when we were actively telling them someone else had ordered that, they proceeded to place the food in front of the wrong person as if ignoring us. This was consistent for every course. Since we were a group of 5, when it came to paying we were notified that there's an automatic 18% gratuity, this was NOT made clear anywhere on their instagram, website, or even when i called to book. It was very annoying to learn, especially since their service was lacking. We were then notified of a 1.5h seating limit, again this was not communicated to us at any point in time until 15 mins before our seating was supposed to end. it seems they're extremely unprepared for the business they have.

Drinks: Their instagram details 50% off wine on Wednesdays (when we went), but when we arrived we were notified it was actually 10$ cocktails (most around 15$) instead. We were a bit miffed, but opted for cocktails instead. We all ordered different cocktails, but all did not have the taste of what they were supposed to me. I had the floral cocktail, which just ended up tasting of cheap gin, and no sense of the other items that were supposed to be in it.

I usually love supporting small businesses, but the food here was simply not good and way too expensive for what you actually receive. The place gives a wannabe fancy vibe with high prices and small portions, but the flavor was a mess. The melon soup was inedible, and the risotto was substandard. The fried chicken (karage) was honestly the best part, and that says a lot considering the fact that the bill was well over $85 with tax and tips. Will not be returning.

Asian fusion restaurant with good flavors and a very hospital staff. Their scallops, Caesar salad and shrimp bisque pasta were my favorites. And all the desserts on their menu are delicious!!
