Nobu Toronto is going to be an  absolute game-changer! Hit this spot in the first 2 weeks of opening, and kudos to their ops team. For a place that just launched, service was dialed. No signs of the usual opening jitters - everyone was firing on all cylinders.

The kitchen's timing was spot-on.

The famous black cod miso is a standout: melts in your mouth like butter

Yellowtail jalapeño is perfectly balanced, with just the right kick.

FOH staff are total pros. Always one step ahead. Napkin magically refolded every time I stepped away, glasses never empty. Amazing high-touch service.

The ambiance is pure class - modern, sleek and exclusive but still warm.

Price wise, it’s a Nobu but the value's there. The mains are surprisingly generous for fine dining.

Major props to the whole team for nailing it right out of the gate. This place is definitely going to be the new hot spot in town.

Parking: Valet is worth it for the no hassle service

I’ve been to Nobu around the world and loved it. Unfortunately this one misses the mark.

We had such an incredible experience. We celebrated our anniversary and had an incredible time. The food and service were amazing. Our server Bria and the entire team made us feel so special. The room is stunning. We will definitely be back.

This was my first time at Nobu Toronto. Everyone was waiting for such a long time and truthfully, it’s overpriced mak sushi. The entrance is underwhelming, the service is not anywhere it needs to be, the bathroom needs quality soap, a proper diffuser, and they didn’t finish painting the ceiling. The demeanor of the team working there is not representative of a luxury dining experience. Finished dishes where left for a long time on the table, wait staff constantly bumped into our chairs, no bag stool or hooks, and the way the support team announced the bill, “ready for the one check, yes I said one!” We were a group of 8. It could have been mentioned quietly to the person who made the reservation. Overall I won’t purposely make a reservation here. I wish them the best of luck and hope this review gives them insight on how to improve if they want to make it in Torontos fine dining scene.

Love the food at Nobu! The highlights for me are the vegetables and desserts and I will explain:

I do like and recommend the other more popular dishes such as the crispy rice with tuna, white fish tacos, black cod, or the new style sashimi salmon. (The new style sashimi is like a journey of textures in your mouth ??). But personally, the most memorable items are the less sought after ones such as the cauliflower jalapeño and the vegetables spicy garlic.

I didn’t think I would ever rave about vegetable dishes at a restaurant of all things, but Nobu does vegetables really well. And I guess it speaks to the quality of the restaurant - how even the most unassuming items are worth a good review.

The best example and the item I recommend the most is the miso Parmesan rice with truffle. It deserves its own paragraph. Who knew rice could be so good? Seriously… try this rice!

The desserts at Nobu are very unique. I suggest to have at least a look at that section on the menu. When you ask the server to elaborate on their descriptions you’ll be amazed how creative the desserts are. Like the miso caramel ice cream bon bon, which consists of a gold leafed white chocolate dome encasing ice cream and nutty sponge cake. So delicious. My favourite dessert is the whisky cappuccino and that one surprised me because I normally hate whisky. Essentially it is an espresso gelato with a cinnamon crunch layer and whisky foam on top. It is representative of many of the dishes I tried at Nobu - a combination of several elements and flavours that work well together and creates a fun, different experience.

So all in all, Nobu is full of pleasant surprises. The restaurant is beautiful too, especially the top level. And the music is extremely well curated ??

My wife and I came here for our anniversary. The service was great! Our server gave us some good recommendations on sake and wine. The decor and atmosphere were lovely as well.

Food wise we had the yellow tail jalapeno, crispy rice with spicy tuna and black miso cod. The black miso cod was absolutely fantastic! The yellow tail was tasty as it is at the other Nobus, but the crispy rice I found over rated... The spicy tuna got lost flavor wise... Despite being to a few different Nobu in my life, I still struggle to find the full value for money here. I understand this is the top echelon of Japanese restaurants, but I always find myself expecting more.

Beautiful interior, entrance is dark and moody which gives a nice vibe. Staircase leading to the upper floor brings an elevated and sophisticated atmosphere. Hats off to the chefs.

Food was delicious, flavourful and everything tasted fresh. Enjoyed the Prime Beef Tenderloin with field salad. Tried cauliflower with jalapeños, my favourite! Desserts impeccable, Brownie and donuts just wow! Had a bite of the Black Cod and Salmon, very tasty. Drinks, love The South Side, best gin drink I’ve ever had!

Service by Matthew was great. He knew the menu inside and out. Very courteous and polite. Thank you Matthew for making my experience wonderful.

I live at 250 Wellington St. W. and not only is this building an eyesore, and not even completed after years of construction, they've recently turned on a fan that has made my condo balcony completely unusable due to extreme noise. North facing residents of Icon II didn't consent to having their own homes inundated with noise at all hours of the day! Talk about being sold up the river by developers, Nobu and the City of Toronto! This is shameful and city council needs to do something about this ASAP.
