Noctua, you are my #Junction weekend vibe! I am a self proclaimed Egg Salad addict, I buy every Saturday if not sold out! Best croissants, pizza, sandwiches and the devilish doughnuts!!!!

Load of crap. I ordered the soppressata and mortadella sandwich and it legit had the smallest smear of pesto and one slice of each meat lol. $14 for that??? Don't bother with this place they are super cheap.

My first visit here & I’m so glad it’s so close-by to me! I did not leave disappointed!! This bakery is such a gem of a find!

I got the sesame sourdough bread & let me tell you….ITS SOOO GOOOOD!!! As soon as I got home, I had to try it as I have been smelling the fresh sesame while driving! I had a toast with some butter, cheese, topped off with cucumbers & sprinkled everything bagel seasoning! The crunch, the softness in the middle, & the taste of the sesame just absolutely DELICIOUS šŸ˜

The service was also impeccable! Clean & cute bakery! Next time I’m defs coming in for a baked goodie šŸ˜ & I cannot wait to try other sourdough breads!!

Highly recommended :)

What's the justification for all the good ratings. I don't quite understand. I was misguided from all the good ratings
When you walk in, everything looks right for a boulangerie bakery. All the bake goods and sandwiches are on display. They are all decent sizes and appealing.
Somehow the sandwich I received is not the same on the counter. Look at my picture. It was very lackluster. One slice of turkey, small smudge of herb aioli. $14 for this bs.
Croissant is decent, crispy shell but it has too much butter.

Maybe their specialty is bread making and I didn't buy any bread. But every I ordered was not good.

I really liked the flavor of the guava halloumi croissant. But both it and the almond/chocolate croissant weren’t crisp and had a dense feeling to them

We got a loaf of bread and it was kind of heavy and dense. I wouldn’t go for the bread there.

Dylon from Vidal barbershop recommended this place to me….customer service was stellar! So kind and engaging. Tasted lemon and grapefruit gelatos (V), which were just the right balance of tart, refreshing and sweet. Chose their 70% chocolate gelato with black cherry (V) gelato as the ice cream equivalent of a Black Forest cake…was transported to Venice with the chocolate gelato alone…velvety and unctuous. It was a moment of glory the Junction served up today…

I guess I’ve become an old school Millennial—but, I still think there’s real value in good customer service. I’ve been a customer at Noctua for quite a while and have always enjoyed the baked goods and coffee. But recently, I’ve started going to other local spots on my morning walk for a coffee and a treat.

I don’t normally leave negative reviews, especially for local businesses I want to support. But the decline in customer service over the past few months has been noticeable—and it seems others have picked up on it too. I’m not asking for much. I worked as a barista at a bakery for years, so I understand that you can’t always be on. But a simple ā€œhelloā€ or ā€œthank youā€ goes a long way in making customers feel welcome.

It’s a small thing, but it makes a big difference.

A cute neighbourhood cafe with some nice pastries, coffee, and gelato.

We got the savoury Danish as well as the pain au chocolat. The Danish was tasty while the pain au chocolat was standard. Probably on the pricier end for pastries.

A couple seats inside the cafe and in the summer, there are a couple seats outside the shop which makes for a nice atmosphere.

While the atmosphere was lovely and food was decent, service would be the biggest knock as the employee was curt and not very friendly.

Overall a fine spot to stop by for briefly.
