This has become our new favorite resto. The staff are exceptional. We've never had a meal that wasn't outstanding. The specials are always worth trying, most recently the kale and white bean soup. The pizzas are crispy and delish (we like the Caura - spicy goodness). The octopus is plentiful and best in the city. Pastas are huge and tasty. You can't go wrong. And the Lombardo martini (vodka) and espresso martini are yummy. The bartender is so friendly and charming too - est at the bar; it's a vibe!

Two big faux-pas from my perspective. 1. The waitress was on automatic pilot; no idea what her name was, took us to our table, came back for the order; dissapeared until food was finished and asked us if we wanted to order desserts; took the order, dissapeared until it was time to pay. 2. Biggest issue was that we put our appetizer's fork/knife on the plate's when finished; waitress put them back on the table to be re-used for main course. How much does it really cost to offer clean utensils for each course? Left bad feeling and eventhough we could have asked for clean ones, the deed was done. Desserts were tasteless (chocolate cake was dey, budino was like a muffin with a tiny scoop of ice cream

The food was delicious from appetizers to desserts. Definitely will become a returning guest.

Went on a Saturday night with my friend to try this place out. The atmosphere is warm and cozy with real family-style vibes, though it can get a bit loud during peak hours. Service was solid throughout our visit.

The pasta dishes were excellent — especially the mushroom gnocchi, which was the standout of the night. The calzone was also very good and a generous size. If anything, the portion sizes could be slightly bigger considering the prices, but it wasn’t a deal-breaker.

Overall, it’s a nice spot to check out if you’re in the area and looking for comforting Italian food in a welcoming setting.

We were a party of 10 celebrating a special bday. The service we received from our waiter Rad was very attentive and on point. The shareables, appetizers, pizza and entrees were all well-timed when brought out to the table. Most importantly, the food was very fresh, well presented and tasty. You will not be disappointed with the service or food.

Perfect spot to celebrate a birthday! 2 amazing salads, spiducci, lemon ravioli, pizza followed by cheesecake AND bread pudding for dessert. Excellent service including wine suggestions. Highly recommend.

I don’t normally write poor reviews but we had a crummy experience at Nodo on st Clair. We booked a reservation but unbeknownst to us, they were hosting a large private event. It was an absolute chaotic atmosphere. The food and service were average at best. I emailed them to suggest they don’t keep two tables open when there’s a big private event/party but never heard back. They can do better. And so can you for good food on St Clair. Underwhelming food and overwhelming atmosphere.

Food and service were excellent as always. The only downside this time was that two nearby tables were talking so loud that it was hard to hear our own conversation. Everything else was great. I love Nodo and highly recommend it.

The food and service were both excellent—everything was delicious and the staff were attentive and friendly. The only downside is that it’s always a bit too cold when sitting by the windows. I also had to send back my margarita because it was about 90% ice, which isn’t acceptable at a $17 price point. Once fixed, though, it was great. Overall, a wonderful dining experience with just a couple of small issues.

Nodo always meets our expectations for a delicious meal, great service and a welcoming atmosphere. Our original reservation was for three. When we added an extra guest, it was no problem at all. We were seated promptly on arrival and our server quickly took our drink orders. Our choices this evening included the arugula salad - so fresh and flavourful- perfect to share. Two of us chose the short ribs and they were fantastic! One diner ordered the trout, and the other member of our group ordered the panzerotti. Everyone was raving about their choices. Our server was professional and attentive. Nodo never disappoints!

It is very difficult if not impossible to book a table for more that six people here. They are not accommodating on this front, and even try to discourage the extra business for some reason (requiring the customer to email a separate booking office which throws obstacles in the way etc.)...

Great atmosphere, attentive service and delicious food! We also had the Arancini, but we devoured them and didn’t take a picture haha. The calzone is a standout, absolutely phenomenal!
