From the homemade focaccia to the freshly made pasta (we loved the ravioli!) to the delicious flourless chocolate torte and tiramisu and based on the overall experience- it was just as good as Varsho’s grand slam. 😉

Went with friends and shared focaccia and calamari fritti for starters. Both were average, not bad not great. The calamari had a light breading that was good, but was a tad chewier than I'd expect. For main, I tried the pappardelle with sugo di anatra (duck ragu), which was frankly totally tasteless. I would expect far deeper, richer flavours from a dish like this, even the tomato sauce was lifeless. Service and ambiance are the only redeeming features, just more average Italian fare we don't need.

Never a bad experience. Great service. Warm environment. Tasty food. Reasonably priced. A repeat place.

Very nice people and really good food! Their pizza's are proper Italian style thin bottoms and are easily the best pizza I have had in Canada. The pasta's also looked amazing!

We ordered spaghetti and anchovy pizza there. So disappointed with the food. The tomato sauce is fresh, however the meatball is not only small but not fresh, the pizza is burnt and too salty. I don't want to waste the food so I just eat them, but I will never ordered these dishes again for sure.
P.S: my boyfriend has a stomach ache after eating at this restaurant half an hour. 😔

Waiting staff was all over the place.
Ordered aglio olio focaccia and received garlic bread on toast. Asked the server and he acknowledged we got the wrong item and then proceeded to bring plain focaccia … still not what we ordered.

Our server was great and really knew the menu well. Food came out fast, hot and absolutely delicious. They were playing The Fray before concert time so it was a fun little amp up for the evening.

I LOVED this restaurant! Such a great vibe and experience. Our server was SO knowledgeable - he was so helpful with recommending a pasta and wine pairing! Also the spritz menu was amazing

Food was pretty plain. Tried the duck pasta everyone raved about in the reviews, felt like I was eating chipotle pulled pork with some bouncy pasta. Pizza was nothing special either.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 – I went to Nodo and now I speak fluent pasta.

We ordered:

🍄 Pappardelle ai Funghi – Honestly? I would sell my house and live inside this dish. Creamy, earthy, truffle-kissed heaven. Each noodle hugged me like a long-lost Italian nonna.

🍝 Rigatoni Bolognese – This sauce has seen things. Like... slow-simmered-for-hours-and-still-has-secrets kind of depth. Rigatoni perfectly al dente. I made eye contact with it and whispered “ti amo.”

🥦 Blackened Brussels – Brussels sprouts had NO right to be this sexy. Charred, crispy, addictive. Who knew my favorite Italian side dish would be basically a salad in its villain arc?

Final verdict: Nodo didn’t feed me. Nodo courted me.

Isabel is amazing! She is part of the reason we went back to NODO again l. That initial experience she provided from our first visit last summer (2024) was great. She was knowledgeable about the menu and drinks. She recommended the duck ragu (not a big duck eater) but so glad we listened to her. We are always happy to have as our server. Thank you for providing a consistent experience!

Walked in without a reservation, my husband and I were sat at the bar. The bar tender whose name escapes me (blond with a moustache) was so attentive, helpful, professional and great at his job. Sitting at the bar I couldn’t help but notice the hustle/bustle of everyone working and they were all doing a great job. The food was so good, I was not disappointed in my choices (we split a pasta and pizza). The wine was great too. Sitting at the bar isn’t always my favourite option, but the vibes, food and service were so good - I’d go back again table or bar seats.
