My wife, Lynn, and I were in this neighborhood and decided to stop into Nola for a late lunch and we are so glad we did. The food was delicious and perfectly prepared and presented. I enjoyed the Classic Beef Tartar and Lynn decided on the Mussels Mariniere. Both dishes were excellent. We also had the pleasure of an interesting conversation with Arun, one of the owners. If you are in the area I highly recommend you try Nola Eatery & Bar.

Food was lovely, although the choice was a little limited, service was great - very friendly, the atmosphere was what let things down for us - general lighting was very bright, the flashing lights gave my friend a headache and it was really cold even though we were seated far from the door. Maybe a daytime breakfast meal would be good to try next.

I ordered wings and a salmon main here. The wings were bland, as were the accompanying sauces, the BBQ sauce tasted like ketchup. The salmon main was like the polar opposite, it was arrestingly salty. As were the accompanying greens. It was quite greasy, too. Probably wouldn’t try this again
