This place is such a hidden treasure. The food was exceptionally good. We ordered the non-veg thali and all the curries were finger licking good, especially the butter chicken. The naan was the MVP, so soft and so flaky. Also, shout out to the person who was working that afternoon. Such nice service! Overall highly recommend!

I think the chef should be ashamed of himself. What they serve as butter chicken is a sugary tomato curry which you can buy from Walmart for $3.99. The kadhai lamb was equally disappointing, but I had better hopes for butter chicken as the restaurant’s name has butter chicken in it. If you are opening a restaurant at least try to make one of your signature dish right.

They charge VERY unrealistic prices, check the price on their menu and on you bills because they'll try to charge you more than they're suppose to and then come up with a STUPID excuse; even though the menu shows a completely different price.

I’ve been searching for good butter chicken for years on end and haven’t had any luck. I’m glad I decided to give this place a try because they did not disappoint. The original butter chicken is so flavourful snd saucy just the way I like it, and it has the perfect amount of spice.

Some of the best food in the hood. I had butter chicken of course, lamb, sag paneer and garlic nan. The family of 6 was swooning over the rich sauces and flavourful spices.
Highly recommend a meal at home with take out, or eating in for a great Thali with an assortment of veggie or meats at lunchtime. Right across from the Linnsmore exit of the Greenwood subway station.

Me and my Wife went here for a late lunch because it was just outside of the TTC’s Greenwood Subway Station, you couldn’t ask for a better location. We are big fans of Indian food, so we decided to give this place a try….. And boy are we very happy we did. It’s a small place, but had a nice big sign outside that grabbed your attention, otherwise you might miss it. lol. The place has a few tables and a small patio, but the windows were nice and big and let lots of light in. The staff/Owner we very friendly and made sure we felt welcome. We ordered some Mango Lassi’s to start with and boy they were fantastic. So full of flavor and very creamy. I still can’t stop thinking of them even now, we both loved them.My wife had the Butter Chicken Bowl with rice and I had the Chicken Curry Bowl and we got some naan to share. The food was simply amazing! So full of flavor. The chicken in both dishes were cooked perfectly, so tender that they fell apart with the simple touch of your fork. The rice was perfect, just perfect and combined with the Curry and Butter Chicken….. It was just perfect. On top of that we got to watch the owner make the Naan from scratch and it was great. Nothing like fresh Naan to complete a meal. There was so much food left over from stuffing ourselves that we ended up taking home the leftovers. The amount you get for the price is fantastic, especially with prices the way they are now.Overall, if you are looking for a great cozy Indian Restaurant, look no further. The food is amazing and the service is great on top of that. We are both looking forward to going there again…. And if you live in the neighborhood, I envy you. Don’t miss out on this jem.

The food here is so delicious! Ordered four takeout lunch specials. Great if you have nut allergies (pls always ask them of course), they assured me they only cooked with nuts if specifically requested, otherwise the food is nut free.Food came with rice, four dishes and naan. Perfect size for one person wanting a filling meal. Additionally I ordered gulab jamun and mango lassi, also delicious. The food came in securely lidded containers with separators to keep the dishes apart. They also put our drinks in a cup tray to carry out.Service was fast, the people there were very friendly, helpful, and reassuring re: my nut allergy). Also doesn't hurt that the restaurant had a giant bowl of candy at the door. Had sanitizer there for it too.Inside, there were three tables for two and two tables together to seat a group of four. The front opens to patio seating (it was a cool day so no seating outside of course, but the restaurant has the capability if anyone was curious).Overall, the food and the experience was great--so good that my mom (who has eaten here before) wanted to specifically get takeout from here on mother's day. 10/10, highly recommend!
Vegetarian options: They have a vegetarian lunch combination feast
Dietary restrictions: No cashews or pistachios used unless specifically requested. We let them know that one of us has a nut allergy and they assured that the food would be nut-free, peanuts included. Was already confident going in. After eating the meal, can easily say: nut-free status confirmed! ?

My last time buying from them . They just cheap out too much. Very inconsistent with their food. Been ordering their butter chicken madras for years. Loyalty doesn’t mean anything to them and when I had called plenty of times in the past to praise them they were appreciative. But when I call in regards to the really bad quality they don’t seem to care to rectify the situation. Its very hard to find quality indian food in the city. They all seem to cheap out in the end and dont seem to be consistent with their quality of food. For $20 there is no reason you only put three pieces of chicken. Food is overpriced but I paid for their quality for years. Today will be the last !
I’ve ordered takeout a few times and everything has consistently been made hot and fresh. Full of flavour and the service is great. The eggplant fritters sounded good on the menu and they were. ?
