We stopped by Nugateau and were blown away by their beautiful, handcrafted Ă©clairs. Hereâs what we tried:
đ JULIETTE: A stunner with Mexique 66% dark chocolate mousse, raspberry cremeux, compote, and cocoa almond sponge. Almost too pretty to eat!
đŻ Caramel Beurre SalĂ©: Rich caramel filling, sea salt glaze, and caramel pearlsâa sweet-salty dream.
đ« MI AMERE: Decadent 64% dark chocolate cremeux and a glossy chocolate glaze for true chocoholics.
đ° Pistachio Ăclair: Creamy pistachio goodness in every bite.
đ Chocolate Mousse Cake: Layers of flourless almond cake, dark chocolate mousse, raspberry compote, and whipped milk chocolate ganache. Divine!
đ Raisin Cake: Classic, moist, and perfectly sweetened.
Each dessert was stunning, delicious, and bursting with flavor. If you're on Queen Street, Nugateau is a must!

Absolutely amazing patisserie and definitely the best eclairs Iâve ever had. Taste delicious and the flavours are very well done and you can tell they are high quality and use high quality ingredients. I come here every year for my birthday and they never disappoint. And a very kind young woman who works at Nugateau always remembers me every year I come for my birthday. She is absolutely amazing and always remembers my favourite flavours and knows what I like. Her service is absolutely amazing. Only critique I may have for them is that I think over time the size of the eclairs has gotten smaller but other than that everything is amazing and I highly recommend.

The ultimate spot for croissants! Their selection is incredible, with the Almond croissant being my absolute favorite. So irresistible. And the Hot Chocolate? Don't get me started on how rich, and satisfying it is.

My expectations were quite high and was looking forward to amazing eclairâŠmy mind was set up.
Upon entering the cafe, I was taken by beautiful decor, clean lines and, what seemed amazing desserts.
Desserts looked beautiful, actually perfect.
I ordered eclair and macchiato; my husband ordered palmier dipped in green chocolate(pistachio?) and macchiato.
Coffee was amazing and thatâs is hard to find in this big city where everything is oversized.
On the other hand, my eclair was not fresh and that was big letdown for me. At the price ticket of $8.00, you would expect it to be ĂŒber fresh. I was quite disappointed.
I did try palmier and it was nice, but wasnât fan on chocolate component. Looked good, but didnât go well for me. I would have preferred just a drizzle of dark chocolate. Just my preference. After all I didnât order it. My hubs did like it.
My highest regards for amazing and well prepared macchiato.
Maybe we will come again and give it another go. Thank you.

Quite enjoyed the large variety of eclairs they offer. The fruit based flavours cut through the richness of the pastry and it wasnât overly sweet. I think if you got some of the chocolate or vanilla flavours, perhaps it would be a tad too sweet. But the ones we had were delicious. Patisserie also has a large seating area so you can enjoy in store.

Enamoured by their brilliant display of eclairs, I just couldn't resist the vibrant green of the pistachio royale and the flavour combination of the Juliette. The pistachio cremeux encases an airy whipped pistachio ganache, finished with candied pistachios and a white chocolate glaze. However, I preferred the combination of the dark chocolate mousse and raspberry filling, a match made in heaven, while providing a heterogeneous experience as each half is slightly different.

Tiramisu and Romeo flavours were decent, but the pistachio one we got had a sour flavour that made us question if it had spoiled. It had a weird funk. I doubt we would go back for the eclairs, but perhaps we'd try something else.

Picked up the most amazing desserts for our family Thanksgiving lunch! The pumpkin pie was scrumptious, with just the right amount of sweetness and the most delectable cream filling. Hand down, the best pumpkin pie weâve ever had. Compliments to the chef!
The eclairs were also delicious and added a great seasonal touch to the dessert table.
Thank you for the great service, recommendations and treats! Iâm sure Iâll be back for more.

What a delightful bakery specializing in eclairs. We tried the mango passionflower eclair that was both beautiful and was an explosion of flavor. The pistachio croissant was a luxurious mix of the flakiness of a croissant and a silky smooth pistachio pudding filling. Donât miss this experience next time you are in Toronto.
