The food taste amazing but some of the portions are too small. The laksa was a great portion size but the sates and beef were miniscule. The food all tasted great but considering all the entrees are at the same price point seemed unfair that some of our table got tiny portions and some got decent sized portions when we all paid the same price. Great service

We had the Summerlicious dinner meals for my birthday and it was one of the best birthday meals that I have ever had, hands-down!Appetizers rojak and duck taco are parties in the mouth. I had hundreds of bowls of Laksa back home before and this is the best that I have ever had. Rendang did not disappoint. Coffee Luwak was remarkable and worth the extra bucks for coffee. Portions are great, we were super full!Service was fast, staff are very friendly, courteous and very knowledgeable.Putting this in the list of regular go-to places!

It was my first time trying Indonesian food in Toronto and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I tried the nasi goreng Jakarta and the laksa noodle, both were delicious. The staff was super friendly, and their patio was a great little Oasis on Bathurst to hang out in. I look forward to ordering here and visiting again. My only critique was wished the portions were bigger, because it was so tasty I ate everything :)

We requested Indonesian spicy, and they delivered! The portion of nasi goreng was generous to our standard. Nasi goreng bebek, which is the duck fried rice was not to be missed. It's not on the menu yet. The soda gembira was also reminded us of how we used to have it back home. Everything was well seasoned!

Parking: Ask if you can park behind the restaurant. The street beside it has a 1 hour free parking.

Went with my wife and 2 friends. We ordered the corn fritter to start. We enjoyed the flavour and it was not too greasy. For the appetizers, 3 ordered the duck taco and 1 ordered the chicken lilit. Disappointing as the vessel for the duck taco was cold soft taco shells. More the main 3 orders of nasi kuning with beef rendang. We were all disappointed as Indonesian food is full of floc ours and our beef was tough and bland. My wife ordered the laksa. It came with shrimps, chicken and tofu. It looked Berger than it tasted. I've had better packaged laksa noodles. For dessert the restaurant ran out of ice cream so we ordered the fried banana. Too much dough and soggy. We had high hopes but were disappointed by the food.

Food was tasteless and felt like it was prepared in advance because lukewarm. We had the 3-course Summerlicious lunch, the mie and nasi goreng were the only edible dishes. Our roasted banana dessert was cold and doughy. We won't go back.

Went for summerlicious. Didn't seem like a good value. $35 for dinner. The appetizer and dessert was a tiny sample size off the regular menu. The regular menu priced the entree as $20. The food was flavourful however it did not impress us. It is similar to what you find in a food court unfortunately

I don't know if it was because they were low on staff or busy but service was slow and it took a while for our food to come. The food portions were good for summerlicious (though the duck taco was a bit of a laugh) but I don't think I would go back. Too many other restaurants to try.

Starving

Our attempt to eat at Nusa Dua was comically bad - certainly the worst we have had in the city. We had a reservation for 3 people at 8pm. We were seated and our order taken, although many of the choices were unavailable. One starter did arrive - it consisted of a single lettuce leaf wrapped around some assorted veg. By almost 9 pm neither of the other two starters had appeared, nor any of the drinks we had ordered. Other patrons also seemed to be waiting for food. When I found the waiter and explained that the wait was unacceptable and we wanted to leave, he insisted we stay. When he reappeared it was not with food! Rather he presented me with a visa card machine, to charge me $11 dollars for the two-bite sized veg wrap! There are many establishments in the city which actually serve food, and know how to treat customers. Avoid this one!

Clearly an overwhelmed restaurant. Out of several items. Appetizers and meals brought one at a time with 10-15 minute intervals. Food portions small and poorly presented. Quite a disappointment

My family and I went for the summerlicious menu. We got there and ordered our drinks first while we looked over the menu. When we were ready to order, our server just then told us that they dont have any of the desserts in the summerlicious menu available which is obviously part of the experience/package. I wish we would've been informed earlier on as it would have impacted us staying since at this point we had already ordered our drinks. What they offered in place was also already part of the appetizer menu so it was hardly a substitute. It was just a very underwhelming experience and the service was subpar.

AVOID THIS RESTAURANT. The owner hung up on me multiple times and would not let me cancel reservation despite more than a day in advance. Even threatened to call the police on me. I've used opentable hundreds of times in the past and this is the WORST service I've ever received.

Service was prompt. Food was slow though. However, I was forewarned ahead of time which was good.Ordered the Rica Rica Wings and the Laksa Noodles. I would recommend skipping the wings - these are severely underseasoned. I don’t personally like food to be heavy on salt or flavours, and I still found it to be flavourless. The aroma of the spices can be smelt on the chicken skin, so the lack of flavour is likely due to the wings not having been marinating in the sauce for long, or if the sauce was only brushed onto the wings while grilling - either way, this means none of this flavour has had the opportunity to infiltrate into the skin/meat. I did ask for salt, but still found myself unable to finish the wings. For 15.99, I expect more than wings that taste boiled. The Laksa Noodles were decent. Came with a lot of tofu/shrimp, some chicken, but no boiled egg as advertised on the menu AND also typically served traditionally. Flavours of the noodle sauce were good. Shrimp were overboiled - leaving them chewy and unmistakenly with the flavour of having been frozen for a long time. Otherwise, there was a decent amount of protein in this noodle bowl.I would recommend trying other items on the menu that the chef might be better at…I was secretly hoping this restaurant would be the one that could fill my Indonesian food cravings, disappointed that it wasn’t better.

Was super excited to try this spot, but sadly we were underwhelmed with our experience. We ordered nasi goreng rendang, nasi goreng jakarta, laksa, and the sate lilit. The Nasi Goreng Rendang and Nasi Goreng Jakarta (fried rice) was very salty and comes with barely any chicken pieces in it.On the other hand, the Laksa was quite bland and just tasted straight like a coconut milk with no other spices in it.The Sate Lilit was very salty and very little portion for its price ($8.99).The food service was quite slow, but the server was okay. The food was not hot when it arrives at our table (it was barely even warm). For its price, we were expecting more “meat” within the fried rice.Hopefully this can be improved by the restaurant :)

So great to have another Indonesian dine-in option in the King West area. Got the Nusa Dua cocktail, Nusa Duning (rice) and Mie Goreng (noodles). Fav was the rice dish. A lot of different flavours and textures. Not sure if this was the Thursday special but all cocktails were $9.99.Staff was polite and helpful. Super friendly and kept checking up to make sure we were good. This restaurant is tucked into a quiet spot on Bathurst so doesn't get as busy as the main street, which is nice. They have a cute and spacious patio too, and TVs up indoors to watch games.
