OEB has been on my radar since my first experience in Calgary. I’m loving that it’s now here in Toronto. This is best breakfast around. Not just breakfast, but great lunch options too, plus cocktails that pair well. Hospitality never disappoints, restaurant is clean. Food is in consistent and on point. Strongly recommend.

It’s an open kitchen so it gets a bit echoey. Tables are nicely spaced, but if you go during busy hours, service can be a little slow

I was super excited to try this location of OEB (I had an opportunity to eat at the downtown Calgary location last year). The food was not as good as I remember from the other location, still good but not blown away delicious. The staff/waitress were run of the mill OK, nothing to complain about... However the FLIES. Wow. We kept having to shoo away some airborn pests. I turned around and the back wall was covered with dozens of black flies. I don't know what kind they were, but clearly this location is dealing with an infestation of something. It was really off-putting. The flies weren't just on the wall behind us, they were on other surfaces and in the hallway to the bathrooms as well.
The ick factor was real so that is why it gets a 2 star.

This place is fantastic!Great taste and delicious coffee! It took a bit long to get our order, but it was busy, so that’s understandable.
The bread is so soft and I love the different options.

Beautiful place and friendly service. Unfortunately I was disappointed with my choice of food. I picked the breakfast poutine with chicken. The chicken pieces were hard, dry and cold and I found about 3 lost cheese curds in the poutine. I was expecting a much nicer meal for the price tag. Some of the other choices looked better.

Food was nothing special at all, honestly upset i had to pay the price i did for a horrible portion, barely any vegetables ( that was included in my order ). Ive tried numerous OEB locations and this one was the worst by far. Service was not there and attitude was. As soon as you walk into the door its just attitude and not good energy. The inside setting is nice which is why i gave the atmosphere 3 stars. Everything else sucked

OEB Breakfast recently catered our event at Ted Rogers ACE, and it was truly an amazing experience working with them! The chicken sliders and the chia seed pudding cups were absolutely delicious, and the coffee was so fresh! Shikha and her team were truly so helpful and kind, ensuring that the sponsorship went smoothly. I highly recommend OEB Breakfast if you're looking for a great breakfast spot :)

Had a great breakfast with a dear friend while visiting Toronto and our server Claire and I discovered we had THE SAME BIRTHDAY! The whole team made sure I had a great experience, but Claire really went above and beyond to make it memorable. 10/10 experience! Just wanted to leave Claire a great review on our shared birthday to make her day even better. HAPPY BIRTHDAY CLAIRE!

No wait at like noon on Saturday which was nice. But it was busy and loud. Felt jovial.
The menu has lots of options, from vegetarian, to meat, to pork substitutes. We got the chicken poutine and the threesome. The chicken poutine was very good. Would give it a 7.5/10, and the threesome was fine 6.5/10. The taste is as good if not better than other breakfast places.
One thing that did tick us off though was the amount of flies above the bar and against the wall nearest to the bar. You dont see the flies on the other side of the restaurant (near the bathroom) but it seems like it’s an issue by the bar. The waitress did explain that it is a known issue and that they did try to solve it, but it did unfortunately rub us off the wrong way. On the wall by us, there were about 10 flies. While above the bar there seemed to be hundreds. They weren’t all flying around in swarms but just stayed stuck to the wall/ceiling. It didn’t seem like anyone else noticed in the restaurant, or from past reviews which is surprising to me.
All in all, if you are looking for a breakfast place, this will satisfy your craving. As long as you dont mind the flies amidst the area where your drinks are made, and glasses are kept. Personally, I wouldn’t give it another shout until that fly problem is fixed!
