A great pub with delicious beer, fair prices, friendly staff and a fantastic atmosphere. When I was there, there was live music and the vibe was amazing. If I'm ever in Toronto again, I'll definitely be back.
A chill and cozy spot that I often visit with friends.
Beers are served in small mugs starting at $5, which makes it easy and fun to try different flavors—I actually prefer this size.
Drinks are ordered at the bar counter, and customers find their own seats. The staff service is neither particularly good nor bad—just average.
Inside, they sell snacks like nuts and chips, and there’s usually a food pop-up as well. However, the pop-up can sometimes be closed or sold out depending on the time or season, so if you’re hungry, you might need to head elsewhere for food.
It’s the perfect place to enjoy a drink on the patio during warm weather, or to take a relaxing break during the Christmas market season.
Fun local community vibe. Great live music. Good beer selection. Highly recommend!
My wife and I, popped into Old Flame Brewing Co. as part of our little bar-hopping tour through the Distillery District. It has a really cool, laid-back vibe and definitely a nice place to chill for a bit.
We tried the beer flight to sample a few different brews. Honestly, the beer was just okay for us, nothing bad, just not super memorable. But it was still fun to try the different options. We also grabbed a few munchies, which were good enough to keep us going between drinks.
The setup is pretty casual, you order at the counter, then find yourself a seat. There’s no full table service, which works fine with the vibe they’ve got going. They also have a few games lying around, which adds a fun, social touch if you’re in a group or just want to hang out for a bit.
While we were there, a small group was celebrating something, and it added to the lively atmosphere without being too loud or overwhelming. It seems like a good spot for low-key gatherings.
Overall, not a must-visit for the beer alone, but a fun stop if you’re in the area and want a relaxed place to hang out for a drink or two.
We were visiting from San Antonio, TX and loved this brewery. Tasty beer and great service!
This place is incredible, mostly due to Brock, Roberto, Matt + Brock 2.0 and the rest of the team and to Drew for making it such an inviting, welcoming space.
As someone who writes and composes music, I'm always on the look out for businesses in Distillery District who support the arts and allow me to write and read so I can come up with my next big ideas.
This space is a gem in the community and I'd encourage more creatives to embrace the space for both down time & relaxing, and also for performing.
Brock in particular is amazing and really welcoming and friendly. Matt too and all the others (sorry, I'm bad with names).
A great team! Great crew! And my second home from home 🏠
I was today years old when I discovered this brewery has multiple locations in Ontario. I specially visited the Distillery Location this past weekend so can only speak to that directly – and Cole’s notes, I loved it. The place is an absolutely wonderful gathering place for friends and strangers alike, offering a cozy yet open space. They even have a stage for live music. From their signature lagers to seasonal specials, there’s something for every beer lover to enjoy. I only tried their Hazy Blonde but really REALLY liked it.
Good price and good variety of bears! Great vibe
They don’t have meals
Not many options of snacks
Great beer selection, friendly staff and amazing live music. I love the place! If I could only make one suggestion is that if they could install a baby changing table in the handicapped WC that would be ace!
Edit: Oct 3, 2025. There is now a changing table in the restroom! Thank youuuuu!!
I ran an event here and can’t say enough good things about the space and the staff! We were very warmly welcomed and they accommodated our large group really well. It’s such a cute spot with a great atmosphere and awesome bartenders.
They had a great selection of drinks and an everyone in our group said theirs was yummy! I can’t wait to come back and will be recommending this place to others :)

We had an absolutely awesome time here last week! It’s a super cute cozy spot and the service was great. The bartenders were really friendly and there’s lots of different seating options. Plus there was popcorn to snack on! We will definitely be back :)
I recently attended a dog social event with the intention of helping my puppy interact with other dogs in a safe and structured environment. Unfortunately, during the event, a bartender expressed concern about my dog barking. While I understand the importance of maintaining a pleasant atmosphere for all guests, it's worth noting that the purpose of these gatherings is to foster interaction among puppies—which naturally includes vocalization as part of their social development.
Given the premium cost of the event, I had expected a more accommodating and understanding environment for both pets and their owners. This incident significantly impacted the overall experience, and I hope future events will better balance the needs of the venue with the goals of dog socialization.
Cool chill place thats become our neighbour pub! Great German style beers on tap with a rotating special, with large pretzel and candied nuts to snack on. Highly recommend the Hazy Blonde and the stout. Personally I'm really happy to find a craft brewery with beer that's less hoppy. Staff are super friendly. They regularly do events like open mics, trivia, etc
Pretentious bartender. Beer is decent. Fix your attitude then I'll change my review.
