We had a lovey evening at Old School, Saturday night. It started with a warm welcome and a great smile. Our servers were awesome. John made sure everyone was well taken care of and was extremely helpful with menu related questions. The food was delicious and the drinks were excellent. Definitely worth the shlep from suburbia. Loved Old School and will definitely return.
My visit to Old School this time around was... different. I found the server to be a little distant. I can't quite put my finger on it but it would have been nice to have felt more welcome. The server would walk off in mid sentence and barely acknowledge anything I said. Mind you it was a little hard to hear with multiple conversations going on but it would have been nice to have felt acknowledged before he left the table. Delicious brunch as always at Old School, I highly recommend it! The pancakes are amazing, the pulled pork Benny is a must-try, and the Breakfast Club is hands down my favourite. And don't even get me started on the French fries... absolutely insane. Thanks for the great service as usual, even if it can get a little busy on Sundays!
