The pasta bar gave me food poisoning January 13, 2026. It was the only meal I had that day so I’m certain the illness was from the pasta bar. I later found out my coworker also got food poisoning after eating at the pasta bar the same day and had the same symptoms (vomiting) along the same timeline. We ordered different dishes so I assume the contamination spread further than just one spoiled ingredient/sauce.

I’d recommend avoiding the pasta bar and being cautious here, however it’s worth adding I haven’t had an issue with their shawarma bar which I also frequent

Olly's coffee, pastries and soups are tasty and I enjoy having them when I go to the office. Prices are reasonable compared to other food options. I recommend it.

I buy my lunch at Olly Fresco, 18 York Street, at least twice a week because it’s convenient and offers a good variety of food. Overall, I enjoy coming here, but I’d like to share a few areas for improvement:
1. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere; however, the music is often too loud, which makes conversations uncomfortable.
2. On December 15, 2025, I purchased a chicken wrap and asked the cashier for some ketchup. She asked how many I wanted, and I replied “four,” but I was given only three. This felt unnecessary, especially since there was a box of ketchup packets under the counter. As a regular customer, the strict limitation on such a small item was disappointing.

I hope this feedback is helpful and can be taken into consideration to improve the overall customer experience.

Okay this place is absolutely amazing. It is like food heaven. It has absolutely everything you could think of from sandwiches to buffets to amazing pokey bowls. I went with the Hawaii pokey bowl and it was absolutely amazing. You must go and try this place out for yourself!

I stopped in for a quick coffee before a meeting and saw them setting up their lunch buffet, so I came back later. Ended up trying the shawarma instead, and it was honestly the best I’ve had downtown. The place gets packed at lunch, but the line moves fast. Definitely my new lunch spot

Nice atmosphere. Wrap was a bit soggy and lettuce was rather wet.

Stopped here to grab a quick breakfast while we were exploring the area. Five into the breakfast buffet. Tons of options and everything was prepared great, especially considering it’s a buffet. Only concern was the fried egg one of us got seemed a little undercooked. Seating is outside in a food court, but it’s clean and it isn’t overly busy, crowded or loud as a lot of people are just grabbing food and going on with their day. For three of us it cost a little over $40 for breakfast, and I was basically full until supper. If you want something quick, not overly fancy, and reasonably priced given the cost of restaurants in the area, it’s worth the stop.

Incredibly salty food, especially the soup. I also got a bacon egg and cheese sandwich and it was so salty I couldn’t eat it. Gross, don’t eat here, better options in this area.

I absolutely love the Olly Fresco chain and the one in downtown Toronto does not disappoint.

The most disgusting lunch I have ever had downtown. Greasy, smelly, gross and sits at the top of your stomach for hours after eating. I had to throw up when I got home.
Never again ffs.

I wish I could put a 0. I had the roast beef loaf, tasted absolutely disgusting, wasn’t cooked properly some pieces were so mushy it was gross. I ate a few bites of my plate which had other food on it, and threw it out.

I come home, and hours later I’m throwing up, my bowels turned to water. Kept throwing up/need to use the restroom repeatedly every 30 mins all throughout the night. I began to shake uncontrollably due to my blood sugar level dropping I assume, keep in mind I have no health problems or diabetic conditions at all.

My body couldn’t even hold the gatorade I needed for sugar and electrolytes. I had to take a whole entire day off work today due to someone not being diligent and cooking their food properly, or throwing it out due to it being inedible. Btw, I got the buffet after 2:30PM.

The soup they are selling daily are very very salty, don't understand why they make these unhealthy soup. Won't go back for soup any more. Overall, pretty expensive for a simple lunch.
