This location has genuinely friendly and welcoming staff who always provide good service. The challenges I’ve noticed seem to be the result of management decisions rather than the front-line team.
Basic guest-facing non-perishable items (pepper, coffee cup lids, green tea, plastic knives, napkins) are frequently out of stock, not just an empty dispenser but fully out of stock when asking staff if they have more. which makes for a frustrating experience.
At the breakfast buffet food station, sunny-side-up eggs are often left sitting so long under the heat lamps that they develop a crust on top and become an odd form of over easy or sometimes they’re not re-stocked at all.
The staff do a great job with what they have, but the recurring shortages and food quality issues point to management not keeping the location properly supplied or maintained. With better oversight, this could easily be a much stronger dining option.

This is Toronto’s best breakfast sandwich place. The most divine bread creation my taste buds have ever experienced. Whenever I’m nearby, I must eat here - resistance is futile. Once I strategically grabbed two at 10am for lunch because I’m a genius.
Dear management: please extend these masterpieces to lunch hours! The lovely lady deserves a raise - honestly, if someone else is making sandwiches, I get nervous about the magic being different.
If you’re heading to Toronto Island, stopping here is mandatory. Get two: BLT and bacon, egg & cheese. You’re welcome.

One of the best hidden pasta places in Toronto. Adam at the pasta counter is super fast and makes delicious pasta suiting to your needs. Reasonable prices and goto for quick lunch for people working around union station / queens quay area

I tried their Thursday special, a Burrito Bowl for just $9 (taxes included). It was definitely worth it! They offer a great variety of food options at very affordable prices.
I will start by thanking the head chef for managing this space everyday for such a high traffic and always serving fresh, twice a day! The place offers so many options for breakfast until 11am, lunch after and manages to close by 4 pm. They always provide fresh food, healthy options and salute to the chef for incorporating all kinds of food options for vegans, vegetarian and meat eaters. The salads and pasta are great. There are live counters for sandwiches, pasta, soup and more.
Food options label clearly of veg/ non- veg and vegan.
Two points of improvement- there is a great opportunity to experiment with an item or two for vegetarians. You can try studying and analysing the market demographics and offer a few items for the target audience. Advantage is: there are no nearby restaurants that offer good, healthy food - a food that people really want to eat and enjoy on a bad day at work.
Second - live counter for sandwiches uses same griddle for heating veg and non-veg options.
I love this and would recommend everyone.
Excellent experience at this location. The little things count. Purchased an ultimate breakfast wrap and a coffee all for under $10!! Quite filling im impressed. Cashier staff was wonderful and respectful and the breakfast chef knows what she is doing!!! Go here for a good breakfast for a reasonable price.

Their food is extremely overpriced
The buffet is $29.99 per kilogram
So basically if you fill up your container, your meal will cost you $30-40
Their pastas are pretty decent though so that's why I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1 star
Best ever breakfast Burrito in town I would say. Worth for your money. So fresh ingredients and awesome customer service .

They charge by the weight for their hot foods. They design their meals to be very heavy sauced dishes that have a lot of water weight/sauce and you need to eat it with rice. Thus it will weight more and cost you more at checkout. Not worth the price, you're just paying for water weight. I had the lamb curry 2 times and the meat was too lean and dry, which tells me not so good cuts were used. Not worth the money
Stopped by today at Olly Fresco Queens Quay location. What an amazing selection of food! Everything was well presented and looked fresh. The buffet was reasonably priced and offered a variety of tasty items. Their service was exceptional, especially the blonde girl Melaney! She was kind and professional and made me want to come back again. Great job everyone! Love this place.
