My vegetarian coworker recommended this place while we were searching for a lunch spot. I'm a non-vegetarian and thought the food here was absolutely delicious! Highly recommend the BBQ Tofu & Ginger Tea.

I'm always looking for new vegetarian places to try and have walked by this one a few times so I tried it recently. The menu has a good variety of Caribbean dishes and decided to try the BBQ tofu. When I got the dish, it wasn't what I expected in regards to the BBQ flavour but it was alright. The sides were okay too but nothing really blew me away flavour wise. The prices aren't much different from other plant-based places but I will say you get a decent portion for the price. However, I think I'm still on the fence when it comes to revisiting.One more note: It's very concerning that in the midst of a pandemic, customers are required to wear masks but the staff isn't. If the staff isn't going to be bothered to mask up, there should be other safety precautions made to ensure everyone's safety.

I ordered the rice and BBQ tofu meal. It's good for if you want a healthy meal but way to overpriced. Nothing about the meal is expensive. Pure robbery. Plus it takes them forever to prepare the meals. I had to wait 40 minutes to get my food

When I lived in Toronto, I would spend 20 minutes on the subway one way and 20 minutes back (after a full day of school) just to pick up food from One Love. I freaking love this place. I cannot wait to return.

It’s unfortunate the food is good and it’s so convenient to pick up on my work break. But the lady charged me for cutlery on a $27 order. It’s has nothing to do with the price of the cutlery it’s the principal. That’s something that should be included in the meal. As if I’m suppose to eat with my hands. That’s tacky!

I recently ordered the Callaloo (Jamaican greens steamed with fresh seasoning served with boiled green banana and Jamaican sweet potato). Wow! So delicious! The sweet vs. savory flavours are so complimentary. I would recommend One Love to my friends and family for sure!

I got an order to share with friends last night, the food made a nice visit nicer. I've held a candle for the corn soup for too long, I should have come back for a visit because it's as perfect as it ever was. Now though, I'll have to choose between the corn soup and the BBQ tofu, which is so, so good.
