I tried the salmon a few days ago. It was delicious and the fish was very fresh. Reasonably priced, too. The restaurant is small but very clean. The only thing I minded was the very strong scent of cleaning product while I was eating. The bleach smell was overwhelming. I know they can’t do much about that and I do appreciate their cleanliness.. maybe I will just do takeout next time ?
Why is it temporarily closed, I love coming here!! :(
The salmon they use is very fresh. Love the taste
Ordered from UberEats: amazing price for amazing food, what more can I ask for? I ordered the Buta Fire bowl and the flavour was amazing, smoky, and perfectly seasoned. Definitely would recommend!
Stopped by for lunch and was hoping to dine in but you can only order online such as uber eats. Looked at the menu and there were maybe like 5-6 items on there. Definitely disappointing since photos of food from other reviews showed more variety which is why we stopped by. Wish we had known prior you can only order online even though there's a physical seating area.
The Turkish cuisine part in store offers some amazing tea and desserts
Glad they are open again. Love the bulgogi and unagi Don bowls. Always high quality and delicious
Great Ramen and service!
The restaurants in this shared space on college are absolutely great, and Onnki Donburi is no exception. My go to is the Sake Lover and for good reason. The salmon is always fresh, the breadcrumbs provide needed texture and makes the bowl remind me of a spicy salmon roll, and of course the rice is cooked well. The flavours are simple but done well. It's a quick lunch that won't have you feeling weighted down after. Cool people running the place as well.
One of the most unassuming places I’ve been to. If it wasn’t for google I don’t think I would’ve found this place. Situated in what seems to be a shared kitchen, this quaint looking corner serves one of the best donburis I’ve ever tasted. Unfortunately they were out of the salmon sashimi bowl but we got a chicken curry and salmon steak (cooked) and boy was it delicious as ever. Overall an amazing location, you should try everything in it, especially that taste bender scone place attached right next to it

Pretty good. Nothing terribly amazing / special but good comforting food.
They're reopening in a new location mid 2023
It's quick and pretty good. I'd like a bit more veggies in the bowls but still really tasty and worth the price.
A hidden gem near Bloor-Yonge Station for quality don (rice) dishes. Great vibe and is a great option for grabbing takeout! Service is straightforward with their menu. They have a few staff members organized to assemble your order. There is a lot of traffic flow from pick-up drivers from UberEats orders. You can also pick it up in person via the Ritual app. Their menu is small but well-curated. Their dishes are small but the quality made up for it. We ordered the Sake Lover Don (Salmon Rice), Korean Beef Rice Bowl , Red Karaage and it was all delicious! It was well presented, the salmon don was fresh and the combination of the ingredients (wasabi mayo, red onion, tobiko, green onion, crispy shallot, house teri-sauce) was delicious. The Korean Beef Bowl was had a great combination of sweet and savoury sauce with the cabbage and sliced rib-eye, drool-worthy. Would come back to try more options!
