Ordered $90 worth of food yesterday. The pakoras were totally burnt & inedible & the Dall Tadka was so soupy it had to be served with a ladle. Things have started going downhill lately. So disappointing since this used to be my go-to for vegetarian food.
We ordered lamb vindaloo, the spicy level, and it didn't disappoint! It was very spicy but still flavourful. We also ordered the gluten free chicken curry, and the gluten intolerant members of our party had no problems the day after, so the meal was a success in meeting the special gluten-free needs we had. We had the samosas, which I really liked as well as the naan. I thought the prices were reasonable. It was $45 for two curries, samosas and naan. We had enough food for four people. We'll definitely be going back again.
The owner should really explain to the women at the front how to pack up an order, as 3 times there was something missing. The one time it happened the women kept arguing that she added the item in the bag but clearly didn’t and would not let me talk to anyone else there or above her. We had enough. Never again. Bad management. It’s not hard to put in the order items on the list. Couldn’t imagine being that dense. Just fyi Missing items could really mess up someone dinning experience.
The name says it all. Good food and authentic. Spicy is a bonus but they also offer not so spicy dishes.
They are very unorganized, slow and the portions are only suitable for children as very, very miniscule. My last order was so small and cost me $50 for two adults, I was totally unimpressed and still very hungry when I finished. I never went back!!
We were here Saturday April 2nd at around 7pm. Everything was great, except I took a bite of the Garlic Naan and bit into a rock! (As seen in the pics) I can only assume it was part of the tandoor and got stuck in the dough - at least I hope so as opposed to the other potential, it was dropped on the floor before being served, Luckily I didn’t swallow it or take a huge bit into it but I definitely felt it on my teeth. I told the wait staff and they just replaced it with a new batch, she thought it was just overcooked burnt, but I can assure you naan cannot be this burned. PSA: check your naan for rocks!
We have eaten here many times, see my other views on place. The last 3 times we have ordered the quality is lacking, lamb tough and watery, cheese naan bread with no cheese and rice missing some of the ingredients that made it so tasty. Time to try other local Indian places. PLace is also looking very dirty and shabby.
We were in Oshawa for a night and looking for a good place for dinner. We went to Spicy Affairs Indian Cuisine and had the best East Indian food I have had. The Chicken Shahjahani was incredible! The service was fantastic! If in Oshawa, this is a must try.
Not their best meal. Order the lamb which is usually fall apart tender but this time it was tough. The rice was good as where the papadums. But the worst was $2 for a TINY little plastic container for mango chutney and lime pickle. Seriously is was like one spoonful. Come on.
Very expensive restaurant for online orders.they should literally reduce the price of the all the dishes during this times. Not recommended for low income families

The food was good, but the service was slow and bad. Took 75 minutes to arrive and then there was no cutlery included. The order was being delivered to a hotel! Then I tried to call or message to get some, and neither the phone number nor the messenger worked at all.
The food is consistently fresh and delicious, employees provides excellent customer service. I like the cleanliness and ambience. Will come visit again.
This little gem was one of the best surprises I have found in Oshawa! The Butter Chicken was awesome. All of the dishes I tried were very good and the prices were reasonable. I would recommend this place!
