My wife and I had yet another fine experience at Oretta on King. The food was terrific: fresh, good portions, and superbly cooked. The service from Jonathan was First Rate, and really made for a memorable anniversary dinner. Great job Oretta!

The food was phenomenal, seating was way too close together and that's the only thing I'd change because it also effects the service, it doesn't seem like an easy layout to serve in.

Very good service. A mistake was rectified very quickly. I ordered the chicken. It was ok. Unimpressive. The rest of my family was very happy with their food. Perhaps stick to the pastas.

I had a reservation for 12pm as I had tickets for a show at 2pm so we were on a bit of a tight schedule but more than enough time for a quick brunch. As soon as we sat down we ordered our drinks and food. The service was extremely slow, and most of the time when we needed something we had to call another waitress over as ours was nowhere to be found or I saw her standing at the bar just chatting. The food was drenched in so much oil, the avocado toast, the pasta, the pizza. Overall it wasn't a good restaurant and I would not come back.

Went for lunch, to celebrate a birthday Food was delicious, service was attentive and personable. Parking in the area is a bit of an issue, and the no vehicle traffic on King Street made getting to the restaurant a little challenging. Overall, would definitely return!

First time visit and I was quite impressed! They accommodated our late arrival and for most of the time, our server was attentive. I had the brioche tiramisu french toast and it was incredible - but a huge portion for one person. Even after sharing it, we could not finish more than half. For the price of some of the menu items, I would've appreciated more food to accompany it. The ambience was beautiful and bright, and although there was a couple private events happening, the noise was moderate. My one complaint is that we waited over 30mins for our bill, and it only came then because we had to ask another server to bring it. Our server disappeared to other tables and didn't check on us for the remainder of our time. Overall, because of how excellent the food was I would recommend, but service could be improved.

I really enjoy oretta. I had not been for happy hour so my comments only reflect that. The portions were smaller and therefore the value wasn't there. However that doesn't meant that the food wasn't good and service was excellent! Won't be back for happy hour but will never say no to dining there

For very first time me n my gf came to try the famous Italien restuarent in Toronto. The food turned out to be soo soo good. We order a margerhita and piemonte pizza with two drinks in late sunday evening. Everything was on point. Then we asked for a ‘ Tiramisu Cake ‘ and I requested a special request that on Tuesday its my gf birthday so as we are spending good time in advance. It would be very genourous if you can write a small ´ Happy Birthday ´ on the plate just as to celebrate in advance as we will be working on the tuesday. He told me he will do something special but after waiting for almost 30 min for the dessert it came and it was just the cake. My gf was understandable but it was disappionting either YOU COULD HAVE DECLINE THE REQUEST it was very okay to us or just could have explained that its busy, had no time or forgot. Which turned off our mood and we didnot bother to ask anything further. Tho mix and match of GOOD FOOD LONG WAIT TIME IN LAST we still paid 18% tips for the service in the genoursity that a cook has nothing too do in it and he made good food so its for him. But whenevr we will think to come back there will always be double emotions about it. NO HARD FEELINGS just saying .
