We tried the 7 course chefs tasting menu. Everything was delicious. Excellent job. Server picked out a great wine pairing for us to go with the entree.
The food was really not bad but also nothing mind-blowing. It was freezing in there, so make sure you wear a sweater!
Una Sertata Toscana evening was an exceptional experience. Pairing each course with a delightful wine while we dined with new friends in a family table setting made the evening memorable. Discovering new wines with new friends sharing newly created plates of food is my definition of heaven. Hopefully the team at Oretta will continue to surprise and delight.
I was at Oretta for a curated wine dinner. I always love these dinners but I feel that they do not include enough vegetables which I found to be the case with this one.
I rarely leave negative reviews, but our experience last night was unacceptable. We found three long black hairs in three different meals, which immediately ruined the evening and raised serious concerns about cleanliness and food safety. This wasn't a one-off mistake—it happened repeatedly across our table. The only bright spot was our server, Jenna, who was kind, attentive, and genuinely apologetic. She handled the situation as professionally as she could, and none of this reflects poorly on her. What was despicable is that no manager or member of management came over to acknowledge, apologize, or attempt to fix the situation. When something this serious happens, it should absolutely be addressed by management, and their absence made it clear that customer experience and accountability are not priorities here. We left extremely disappointed and will not be returning.
Second time dining here, this place doesn't disappoint. Great service, ambience, drinks, and delicious food.
Food was fantastic. Service was very slow towards the end even though the restaurant was mostly empty.
Very nice ambience & very nice people. Food is okay. Tiramisu is okay. Ravioli is a must try!! wil definitely come back for their cafe 🤍
We purchased tickets for the New Year's Eve event for our group of four. Upon arrival, we asked the hostess whether seating was available and were told the event was standing-room only, despite the fact that other guests were seated and no one was standing. After questioning this, we were eventually given a table. Once seated, the overall experience fell short. There were children running and screaming throughout the restaurant, and although the event was advertised as having a DJ, the music quality was very poor and could barely be heard. Additionally, no staff member offered us menus or the opportunity to order food or drinks. While some finger food was available and we did receive a glass of champagne at midnight, the event was not worth the $50 plus tax ticket price and was misleading in its presentation.
We had a fantastic New Year's Eve at Oretta on King Street West. The fixed-course menu was fun, well thought out, and very reasonably priced for NYE. Every course was delicious, portions were generous, and we left feeling happily full. The staff were excellent—warm, attentive, and made the night feel special without being rushed. A great atmosphere and a wonderful way to ring in the New Year. Thank you for a great evening.

The tasting menu!! We had a fabulous family dinner at Oretta doing the “family style” tasting menu with seven dishes. So much delicious food. Knowledgeable staff, great wine recommendations. Highly recommend you let the chef pick the dishes for each course and you can indicate any allergies or preferences.
The brunch options were delicious. We had the french toast and burrata eggs, and both were excellent portions and taste. The service was great, our server gave us plenty of time to review the menu and didn't rush at all. Would absolutely come back again.
We chose Oretta King to celebrate the arrival of out of town colleagues! We loved the food, experience, service and atmosphere! First time for all of us and it was big hit! Thank you!
A restaurant not to be missed - fabulous food, incredible service- we will definitely be back!!
Unfortunately I just wasn't impressed but I kinda figured that's what was gonna happen for a king west restaurant. The note that there was a birthday wasn't passed on to staff, the drinks too really long even though we were there pretty early and my stockings got caught on a piece of gum someone had stuck under the table - when I told the staff and asked for a napkin he didn't apologize or even clear the dirty napkin after I picked the gum off. Nice enough guy but not something I'd expect to happen for a restaurant with $30+ dishes Very cute atmosphere! It was however freezing inside due to the door situation even being across the room from the front door. Probably wouldn't go again but it was nice one off
