took my bf here for his birthday !

the atmosphere was beautiful, you really feel like it's a special occasion and you're getting the fine dining experience. the service was great, our waiter was attentive and answered a bunch of questions we had.

to start, we ordered 2 appetizers- the recco focaccia, and the endive and pear salad (as recommended to us by our waiter). the recco focaccia was very good. it was served warm, the cheese was flavourful with the perfect amount of salt, and the focaccia was light and crispy. i thought the portion was a little small for the price though ($28). the endive and pear salad wasn't my favourite, it was too bitter for my taste.

for our main, we ordered the seafood platter. my bf loves seafood, and he said it some of the bites were the best seafood he's had. i'm not the biggest fan of seafood, but i could tell that everything was super high quality, and i still enjoyed everything on the plate. the octopus especially impressed me, as i've never had octopus that was so buttery and smooth. the seafood platter is a great option to try a variety of different items and i think it's pretty good value.

for dessert, we got the tiramisu. prettiest tiramisu i've ever had. taste wise, it was pretty good, but i didn't think it was stand out.

overall osteria giulia was a nice experience. even though not all the dishes were suited to my taste, you can tell what you're getting is quality ?

Truly one of the best restaurant I have been to in my lifetime. I highly recommend sitting at the chefs table - what an experience. The food was exceptional, the waiter was thoughtful and getting to see the meals made was my favourite spot. If you want a special spot guaranteed to be delicious, look no further. This place meets the hype! 12/10 would recommend.

Visited last year for my anniversary dinner with my girlfriend. Stunning location, stellar ambience, and very charismatic staff.

We were seated next to the kitchen, so it was a bit noisy and we had people constantly walking past us, so the dinner didn’t feel as intimate.

The food was alright, the focaccia di recco and the vitello tonnato were standouts. We weren’t the biggest fan of the burrata and we found the bread to be a bit stale. The pasta dishes were just average, they didn’t blow us away. We did not like the mille-feuille at all.

Overall, a pricey spot. Not sure if it’s worth the value. Definitely worth a try if you care about Michelin stars. I just prefer Giulietta over Osteria.

We had a great time at Giulia! While the ambiance, and service were amazing, the food didn't live up to its expectation. The food was still very, very good, but not "wow".

It was a nice experience. Food is delightful and enjoyable. Highlights are the scallop dish with a refreshing flavor and sea bass which is cooked well with a smokey smell but juicy meat. Flatbread and spaghetti are as good as expected. Service was professional, but they forgot to give us back our leftovers (as we were rushing out for the next table to come in) so I have to take one star off. Clean decoration but nothing special.

The front of the restaurant does not look much, but it is fantastic inside. Service is professional and warm, food is great. The cocktails are top notch, I highly recommend the old fashion, the preparation is a show by itself.

My husband and I loved each and every dish. The pasta was even better than pasta we've tried in Italy. In fact, the squid ink pasta in particular was the best pasta I've tasted in my life and prepared to perfection. The ambiance was lovely, comfortable, and romantic.

Went for an early sitting. Our server made us feel like they didnt want us there. Was not very welcoming. When we ordered a few dishes and were met with an arrogant tone mentioning the portion sizes are small a second time. Our drinks were good.
We were not impressed with any of our dishes, they were just OK. We didnt finish a couple of them. The space itself was nice, but would not go back.

What a delightful feast! Everything was amazing. Alessandro the sommelier picked the perfect wines for us and Will our server was exceptional. Our favorites were probably the scallop crudo, vitello tonnato, lobster risotto and the gorgeous bone in striploin! Oh and dessert was out of this world yummy. This was our first time getting together with the whole family in 5 years and it was certainly one to remember. Thank you so much Osteria Giulia for your attention to every detail! You are a very special restaurant and a must try in Toronto! Can’ wait to return!

One of the few restaurants in Toronto whose interior isn't the only thing good about it.
The food was fresh and cooked and seasoned well with decent service (some servers were quite pretentious while others much nicer) and clean interior makes for a great dinner environment.
The only thing that I (personally) did not like was how OVERWHELMING and incredibly strong at the alcohol flavour in the tiramisu was. If you like your dessert to taste like literal booze, then it's for you
Albeit, it all comes at a high price, the food won't leave you disappointed like many other restaurants in the city

Absolutely the best! I went for dinner with my boyfriend for my birthday and the food was amazing: every plate tells a story and has a unique taste! Scallops are a must try and also Paccheri but my favourite thing was the focaccia with stracchino that made me fall in love! Atmosphere is very soft and romantic and staff is friendly and kind. 100% recommend!

My husband and I recently enjoyed a date night at Osteria Giulia, and had an amazing evening. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm ambiance and an inviting atmosphere, perfect for a cozy evening out.

Our server, Melissa, was a highlight of the night. Her knowledge of the menu and passion for the food made every dish sound irresistible. Her attention to detail and impeccable service made us feel like VIPs throughout the evening.

The food itself was outstanding – delicate, fresh pasta, rich flavors. We started with their burrata, which was incredibly creamy, and moved on to the tagliatelle with fresh truffle – yum! Melissa guided us through the menu with ease - every course was timed perfectly and it made the evening feel relaxed and indulgent.

Osteria Giulia is a gem, thank you for the experience. Perfect for our first date night in a long time without the kids. We can’t wait to return!
