Walk out of the bustle of the city into a true gem of a cafe. Close to the connection to the UP express, Outpost is a true cafe. My new secret escape in the west end!
Opens at 7:30am. Moderate amount of seating, plus a sidewalk bench. Near Bloor UP and GO. Super-hot, good coffee but not that flavourful.
Outpost is my go-to spot for coffee whenever I'm near Dundas West station. The flat white is highly recommended, and the espresso never disappoints.

Hazelnut latte w/ oatmilk - 0/5 (no expresso- just milk and sugar)
Decaf caramel latte - 1/5 ( sweetness overload with no creaminess from foam)
Cortado - 3/5 (light espresso but followed instructions)
Local business. Troy is really kind and helpful. I had an issue with my order and they were able to fix it smoothly.

Best coffee beans in the city! We subscribe to the monthly delivery; it’s convenient and well priced. Anytime we run out of Outpost beans and try a different brand, we always go back to Outpost without fail. Great owners who care about quality and people.
The coffee is delicious as it's freshly roasted. And the pastries! They were out of control. Pricing wasn't too shabby either ?

Great place, lovely environment. The pumpkin pie latte is the best in the whole city. Perfect balance of seasonings, not too much sugar, and there’s actually pumpkin puree in it!

Their ice tea with milk is delicious. However there are flies everywhere and it is not easy to relax due to this.
