If you’re looking for a very casual but delicious spot for sushi, this is a good one! Excellent vegetarian options, both for sushi and entrees. I got the teriyaki tofu bento box, and the inari sushi was absolutely scrumptious. The atmosphere and vibes aren’t anything special, but the waitstaff are kind, attentive, and the food came reasonably quickly. Overall… yum!

Given the high ratings, I had high expectations. Sushi was okay but nothing particularly impressive. Unfortunately the Japanese food scene is quite competitive nowadays, and from a price for value point of view, it’s not quite worth the price. Wasabi was your typical squeeze tube, maybe even worse.

We wanted to like this place based on the reviews, we even went out of our way to give it a try. Sadly the dining area smelled like a dirty restroom, I'm not sure why because the actual bathrooms did appear to be quite clean. When we got home my daughter was ill with what appears to be mild food poisoning. The waitress while very nice, did not have time to attend our table to refill water etc. I hope this was just a one off night for them, but I don't think we will personally be visiting again.

Oyabong sushi is amazing! Love their quality of sushi and customer service. I've been coming here since last years opening and I haven't been disappointed. Highly recommend!!
We ordered a party platter and a few other delightful rolls and as a foodie party of five - were quite impressed. The food was ready right on time and the staff were helpful. Nice to have some GOOD sushi in the beach!

Really delicious food and for a super reasonable price - can probably feed 2 people for less than $30 total. Also we didn't even wait that long but the waiter was super friendly, nice, and apologetic for the wait (pretty normal wait time tbh). Would highly recommend giving this place a try! P.S. Ryan the waiter was awesome!! Thanks for making us feel so comfortable!
