I am a man who has had a lot of burgers in his life. I have tasted the good and tasted the bad. And I can say without a doubt that this burger place is amongst the top 5 burger experiences of my life. To you that might not mean much, and neither did those other reviews mean much to me before I came here. Yet in the end, just like all the other people who left a review, so did I. Unlike other restaurants in Toronto, this place has a soul. In addition, the owner actually cares about his customers. The burger was amazing, the fries abundant. The only negative aspect would be the waiting time. The amount of people who come to this hidden gem is insane. But its just that good…

My wife and I revisited Ozzy’s Burgers after 2 years on Tuesday August 19 2025. Our first time experiencing Ozzy’s was wonderful. The food was amazing and above all the service was great where the owner himself came to greet us and thanked us for coming. It was a warm, inviting and friendly atmosphere where their burgers and tenders were superb.

We haven’t had the chance to revisit Ozzy’s since our first encounter and decided to do so for my birthday.

We came with feeling of excitement and joy, salivating for their burgers. However, we were met with a huge disappointment as soon as we ordered to a very very rude staff who was taking our order. At first I was taken aback with how rude she was responding to my wife. She was very what some would describe as “dry” - unpleasant, impolite and just really disrespectful what with her hand gestures and eye contact when taking our order. What really upset me was when my wife asked her about some of the menu choices and opted to order a 3rd item (tenders as we had already ordered 2 burgers) - she had the audacity to roll her eyes back at the mention of another item we wanted to order to which I could only assume is because it would be more work for her? Or maybe she presumed we wouldn’t finish it all and we ordered too much? (FYI we finished all 3 meals while we were there).

We then proceeded to order 2 drinks, making one of the burgers a combo meal. She proceeded to be very rude and disrespectful when asking if we wanted to make both burgers or just 1 of them as a combo. Seeing how rude she was to my wife I raised my voice out of frustration (which I rarely do) to explain we just wanted 1 of those burgers to be a combo and for the other to be by itself.

I was very very appalled by this women’s customer service. After we sat down waiting for our mean and while I was trying to listen to my wife in calming down and enjoying the rest of my birthday lunch, the woman brought over our food and slammed the trays on the table without saying anything. Yes, slammed the trays down and slid it across the table to us as if she was feeding some dogs.

At this point I was just flabbergasted and I didn’t even choose to say anything. My wife and I both agreed she was so impolite and disrespectful so much so that it ruined our whole meal and day. We’ve decided that we will NEVER, and I mean NEVER come back to Ozzy’s Burgers again. This was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had in my entire life in when going out to eat. The food was still delicious but not quite as it was 2 years ago and I cannot tell if it’s because of the service and the way we were treated or if the quality of the food just went down. It’s a bit of both but I fear it’s more so the former if I’m being completely honest.

I never write google reviews but this bothered us - so much nearly a week later I opted to voice our concerns to the public. Please stay away from this horrible, mean, and just awful woman and don’t let her ruin your day and experience as she’s done us. What was once a beautiful and worthwhile going establishment for what I truly believed was the best burger in town is now truly the worst culinary and dining experience I’ve ever had.

Very warm and welcoming place, burgers are delicious and I saw how they prepare patties - freshly and good quality of meat. One of the best burgers place in Toronto. Owner really takes care of his business

Ozzy Burger has been feeding us hungry folks for so many years now. It's my go to place any time of the year.

Sumer, Spring, Fall and Winter anytime is a great time for Ozzy Burgers!

Honestly Ozzy Burgers you can taste what real meat is suppose to taste like. It's so fresh and juicy it's like a musical symphony is playing in your mouth whenever you take a bite!

The fries are so delicious and you get a lot as well, and you'll immediately think to yourself 'how on earth am I going to eat all of those fries?' but you will and you'll enjoy ever bite of those fries.

So if you're in the mood for some amazing food and you're craving a proper burger and fries then look no further than Ozzy Burgers!

My friends and I went last night for dinner, we were very impressed with the service and the quality of the food! Ozzy was very welcoming and friendly, he even gave us regular and sweet potato fries on the house 🫶🏽. The fries were crispy, light and not greasy. I got the grilled chicken burger, the chicken was moist and pretty juicy considering that it chicken breast. I typically feel heavy and lethargic after eating fast food, but I felt light after this meal!

I used to be a fan of this place, but after revisiting it for the first time in three years, I can confidently say I won’t be going back again. The burger was a huge disappointment, it wasn’t tasty at all. The patty was extremely dry, overcooked, and completely lacking in flavor. I had ordered the lamb burger, but it didn’t taste like lamb in the slightest.
The fries were another letdown. While they had some flavor, they were clearly stale and not crunchy at all, which made them very unpleasant to eat.
Service was okay, but it took more than 25 minutes just to get our burgers, which only added to the overall frustration.

Holy Cheesus! Great name for a great burger - deep fried mozzarella on a burger? So incredibly good! Everything was fresh, handmade, and delicious. Staff were friendly, great overall experience.

Doing the tourist thing and we walked from downtown, which was a bit farther than we thought, but I would do it again. If you're visiting Toronto and chasing after a great burger experience, you've failed your mission if you don't stop here.
