I went to Baro for a breakup party. The staff went above and beyond to make the night special with personalized gifts and complimentary drinks without being requested. Courtney was truly the most amazing server. I have genuinely never experienced something like this at a restaurant before. The SWEETEST people.

My favourite restaurant in Toronto. I had a great experience delicious food the Pulpo a la Plancha omg so good. Charred Jalapeños I just loved it. Last but nonetheless waiter service always making sure if were okay with water, wine and recommendations for desserts. After that we went to rooftop for drinks I have been there 3 times and I definitely will coming back!!

We went here on a Saturday night. The drinks were decent, the chips and salsa were mediocre for the price and could have used some salt. Our server was great, however, the thing our group disliked the most was the vibe and horrible trap music playlist they had going on for the entire duration of our stay. The music selection was a huge turn off.

Nice atmosphere on the rooftop. The food was ok, too many Asian spices in Latin food. There is a reason this isn’t done, it doesn’t work. Not what I expected. The drinks were good.

I came here some time in the beginning of the month & the food is not the best! Very small portions. Washrooms are so dirty , & the servers don’t know how to pronounce the good names.

great vibe and lovely restaurant, the only thing is I found it to be a little too expensive for what i took, ordered a single corn on the kob it was 15 $ + tip.. other than that would recommend

Literally took 20 mins on a Thursday for a table for 3 which was like sharing table with 4 other people.On busy days it can be annoyingly busy.Otherwise I don’t see any issue.Staff was good.. food was good too.

Jurgen took care of us tonight, amazing customer service and overall made my experience a lot more enjoyable.

This was my first time trying Baro, upon entering the interior was very modern and felt very tropical with all the greenery. The music is bumpin’ with latin hits and the restaurant overall has a great ambience. I started with the roasted brussel sprouts and chili broccolini. For the mains, I had the pollo asado and OG duck chaufa. Food had great flavouring. The brussels and pollo asado tasted top notch. I will definitely be back again.

The food was good. Had the chorizo tortillas. Very delicious. Needed a bit more acid. The duck wasn’t what I expected. I couldn’t find any duck in my dish. It was very tasty but where was the duck? For that price I would like a couple slices of duck on top. Took the left overs home and still couldn’t find duck in the rice lol. Glorified fried rice to be Honest.

It was pretty cozy, the drinks were nice and the food definitely hit the spot! I'll definitely be returning.

Love this Toronto spot! Perfect for date night or a group dinner. The food is amazing, and the staff are so professional and outgoing. Highly recommend!!
