Got food to go - loved the peameal bacon sandwich and breakfast sandwiches. The buns were big and fluffy but not heavy, and the peameal bacon wasn't too salty like some others. Our only suggestion is to have more than one person preparing sandwiches at the counter on a Saturday morning. Will definitely be back!

I recently visited Paddington’s in Toronto and had a classic peameal bacon sandwich. The sandwich was delicious—thick, juicy, and cooked just right. But beyond the food, what really made the experience memorable was the friendly service. The staff was warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home. It’s the kind of place where you can tell they care about their customers, which adds to the charm. If you’re looking for a genuine Toronto experience with tasty food and wonderful service, Paddington’s is a must-visit!

Ordered a burger and an egg with fruit on the side dish.

The burger seasoning was awful, the bread did not come with any sauce so it was dry. Awful.

The fruit felt like it was sitting in a bowl for over a day, not fresh, not good.

Can't understand how this is a popular spot, I will never step inside this spot again. So many tasty options in St Lawrence Market, and Paddington...

The eggs were overdone and salad had no consistency. Additionally the potatoes were very artificial tasting.

Great peameal on a bun and a perfect Canadian experience, best price for quality, the Portuguese tart was a disappointment, the crust was too thick and under cooked, the custard needs a little more sweetness or brightness with the texture again a little under cooked, while I like more brown than the traditional black spots none of their display products had black spots— again perhaps a sign of the need for more oven time, go here for the peameal, it will not disappoint

My husband, my daughter and myself make a monthly trip to St Lawrence Market and we always end our trip with all 3 of us getting a roast beef dip. I’m from Philly originally and just the way they serve the sandwich, it reminds me a lot of a cheesesteak from home, without cheese, it helps when I have the craving for one, I think the next time we go, I may ask if I can have cheese on it. No pics because we eat it too quickly, highly recommend the sandwich!

Only got take out from the window for the bacon sandwich. Loved it with the extra toppings. Don’t miss this! The market is great to walk around too

Smashing IT!

Paddington Pump Pub & Restaurant has been a gem of a spot in the heart of a historic St. Lawrence Market for years now.

What a great day to start off your journey into the St. Lawrence Market by stopping off at Paddington for a great breakfast. Or where ever your journey may take you for that day. Hogwarts perhaps? Platform 9¾ and Hogsmeade Station..

I had the French Toast with sausage, and it was amazing!

Such great prices as well. Especially in this economy.

Great food. Great vibes and an amazing waitstaff!

Can't wait to come back for some more great eats & friendly chit chat.

Decent peameal bacon sandwich. Nothing spectacular but serves as a great light brunch. Came out to $8.84 after tax as of October, 2024. Be sure to ask them to put their signature marmalade as condiment inside your sandwich!

The beef burgers are great but the place lacks basic hygienic standards. They keep meat in open plastic tubs. They do not use gloves when cooking. The same dude touching the raw meat patties will then prep your lettuce and buns without washing hands, etc.

Game here to try the famous peameal sandwich. Heard this place was the best! I enjoyed the sandwich. It is very reminiscent of the standard deli sandwich but it is more sophisticated. The cornmeal on the Canadian bacon (which essentially tastes like a salty Christmas ham (not overly salty)), peaks through in the moist subtle way adding a toasty, smoky flavor to the meat. I topped mine with onions, marmalade, and peppers. The sweetness of the marmalade complimented the sandwich nicely. I also got a Portuguese custard tart while I was there. The filling is extremely thick and the crust flaky. It taste like creamy custard, made my but from other vendors to compare. Look out for that review!

Got a peameal bacon sandwich with the works. The friendly guy was putting together and cutting my sandwich. The sandwich tasted great!
