Food was great! You do not leave hungry! We had great friendly service!
Gosh what can I say? Breakfast is a must here! The service is great, and the food is good. Portions are big, so take someone else with you to help nom nom everything if you can’t.
We were visiting Toronto from Texas and found this spot at the St. Lawrence market. Felt authenticity Canadian. Staff were extremely friendly and down to earth. Got to chat with the owner at the bar and you could tell this place is his baby. Food was tasty and the house lager hit the spot. Highly recommend!
Never really bought the hype on st Lawrence market but I tried it again. Peameal on a bun was good, got all the fixings (egg, mustard, peppers, marmalade, cheese). One half was better than the other, and good bang for your buck ($10) and pretty filling. Nothing mind blowing but def a good “Toronto classic” that I can see people craving and coming back for
We came here because of TikTok. Yes the bacon sandwich was good. It's a simple place with solid food. Great places around it too.
Got the pancakes which were quite dry, 2/3 were a bit overcooked. It was extremely busy and the servers were not attentive, I had to ask for my bill and no one was around to ask for a refill on my water. Decent prices, but mediocre food.
Had the peameal and roast beef sandwiches. They were unfortunately below average for how much hype this place has. The peameal was very dry and the roast beef was bland, the au jus dip added flavour but it was extremely salty. I swear I’m not picky, the food was just disappointing. Our server was really nice though and the fries were good (though I ordered the home fries and didn’t get them sooo…yeah we were disappointed)
Food was good but the potatoes were overly salty
Stopped by to grab breakfast here Saturday. Normally it’s busy but today was wild. Think it took almost 20 minutes which is not very common. Ordered the breakfast sandwich which is 3 slices of peameal bacon, a fried egg and cheese on a sandwich bun.
Decided to get their marmalade, banana peppers, ketchup, mustard and mayo. Tbh, their sandwich does hit the spot. Maybe only take away is the outside of the sandwich, never been a fan of semolina on bread.
Pros:
-price is 7.35 for a sandwich.
-stacked well and dressings just added to it
Cons:
-service does get slow, but they have a whole dine in restaurant so the kitchen is literally turning out food for two sources.
Loved their peameal bacon sandwich. their marmalade was delicious with the sandwich. The Portuguese tarts were not my faves, they were way too sweet that covers the custard taste.

Got food to go - loved the peameal bacon sandwich and breakfast sandwiches. The buns were big and fluffy but not heavy, and the peameal bacon wasn't too salty like some others. Our only suggestion is to have more than one person preparing sandwiches at the counter on a Saturday morning. Will definitely be back!

I recently visited Paddington’s in Toronto and had a classic peameal bacon sandwich. The sandwich was delicious—thick, juicy, and cooked just right. But beyond the food, what really made the experience memorable was the friendly service. The staff was warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home. It’s the kind of place where you can tell they care about their customers, which adds to the charm. If you’re looking for a genuine Toronto experience with tasty food and wonderful service, Paddington’s is a must-visit!

Ordered a burger and an egg with fruit on the side dish.
The burger seasoning was awful, the bread did not come with any sauce so it was dry. Awful.
The fruit felt like it was sitting in a bowl for over a day, not fresh, not good.
Can't understand how this is a popular spot, I will never step inside this spot again. So many tasty options in St Lawrence Market, and Paddington...

The eggs were overdone and salad had no consistency. Additionally the potatoes were very artificial tasting.
