Came here on a Sunday afternoon to pick up some Portuguese tarts. Got 6 for $10.50 including taxes. Compared to other places in the market they weren't bad, I felt it was a bit too custardy and they weren't too sweet.Would be interested in coming back to try their food, but not their tarts again.

Fast service. Very cheap. Great peameal bacon sandwich (I put marmalade in mine and it was a good combo)

Okay diner. Don't order the cheeseburger. I'm sure the meat was pre cooked and reheated. So very dry and crumbly, like leftover meatloaf. Maybe the worst cheeseburger I've had in years. Everything else we ordered tasted ok.

A classic greasy spoon with all the expected breakfast items. Good service. Convenient location at the St Lawrence Market. Can get busy on weekends but the line moves quickly.

Horrible professionalism amongst the staff. They did not allow us to move to a better table regardless of them having multiple other open tables to sit at. The staff argued that we were not allowed to move because the original server would not get the tip. As a paying customer, we should be allowed to sit where we would like, granted it is available. We were kicked out for wanting a better table. Rude! We will obviously never be returning and I hope the restaurant figures out a professional way to deal with tips.

Been coming here for years. I know things can get busy. But come on we waited 45 min before our order was taken. And it's not a very big place. Not a lot of tables. I have been noticing most of the wait staff hang out at the bar. Maybe that is the place to sit. Sitting at the tables takes too long. And the food has been greasier than usual. Not a good time there lately. Maybe time to look for a new place.

Great little old school diner. Big portions, very unpretentious blue collar vibe. Bit of a throwback era that many 50 plus people would feel nostalgic in.

The spectacular location within the most emblematic Market in Toronto gives it a special touch. The cuisine is good, generous portions. A good variety of options including vegetarian. It is worth eating and drinking a beer or cider.Vegetarian options: Limited options but there are.

My go-to place for a take-out peameal bacon sandwich. I always keep it simple; peameal, tomato, honey mustard and mayo! The bread is divine. The flavour combo is perfection. I crave this sandwich all the time. Love!
