food is tasty and flavourful, service is sketchy. Took a long time to get the appetizers and while we were still eating them the mains were brought to us. tables are too small to hold all the dishes, so were juggling them. then we had to wait a really long time for the mango gelato (which tastes nothing like mango). after that there was a long wait for the bill, at which point we were getting worried that our 2 hour paid parking was getting over. after the mess up with the bill with another table, we finally got ours, paid and left. so overall not such a great experience.
This was an amazing spot! Food was great, tasty & flavourful! The waitress (Sabrina) was helpful in navigating the menu items and her suggestions were awesome! I would for sure recommend (and I'm an avid Thai food eater) this place to anyone that likes flavour. Solid 10/10.
I celebrated my birthday today at Pai Uptown during Summerlicious, and the experience was absolutely fantastic! Despite the restaurant being busy, the staff went above and beyond to accommodate a last-minute addition to our party. Tony, the manager, personally provided exceptional service, ensuring everything went smoothly and that all our dishes arrived on time so we could enjoy them together. The food was absolutely delicious, especially the laab salad and Khao Soi. The atmosphere made the evening even more memorable. Having worked in the food and beverage industry myself, I truly appreciate how challenging it can be to manage a restaurant like Pai, especially during Summerlicious. Tony's outstanding service made me feel incredibly fortunate to have chosen this spot to celebrate. I highly recommend Pai Uptown for both the amazing food and the exceptional service!
Loved everything. Can't wait to come back. The food, the ambience brings me back to Thailand.
Went for Summerlicious and had an outstanding meal... plenty left for leftovers which were as delicious the next day.
Tried the Summerlicious menu at Pai North York and unfortunately, it didn't meet expectations. The food quality felt below usual standard. If the restaurant can't maintain its usual quality during Summerlicious, it raises the question—why participate in the Summerlicious at all?
I celebrated my 40th birthday at PAI Uptown with work friends and there were so many vegan options! I had to try the Pad Thai since it was marked as a chef’s favourite and I was not disappointed. Easy choice to dine here if you’re celebrating with omnivore friends or just looking for good vegan Thai options.
Ordered the green curry, spring rolls and mango sticky rice for dessert. All the food was fantastic and quite a big portion size. The service and atmosphere of the place was also lovely! The only downside is that the price is a bit steep (though there were other main menu items that were cheaper). I’d definitely come back and try other items😄

Our favorite Thai restaurant in North America! Pork skewers are a must-try! The service is excellent, and Tony has always been amazing with our family. My kids always want to come back for him! If you’re visiting Toronto, here is the first restaurant you should go to.
