My first time at Pain Perdu where I met a friend for lunch. I had the spinach and goat cheese quiche with a salad. It was delicious. The atmosphere is rustic and cozy. Friendly service. I plan on going back to sample some of the temping French pastries. Perhaps a different quiche too.

A lovely continental breakfast in a serene atmosphere helps you imagine that you're someplace other than busy St Clair Ave W. Not pretentious at all.

Their café au lait actually comes in a bowl, and is really delicious with croissant. Their baguette is crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, it's excellent with ham and cheese. Super friendly people. I love this place.

A must visit of St. Clair West, Pain Perdu has been delighting locals with authentic French pastries and baked goods for over two decades. This charming bakery is a neighborhood institution, beloved for its warm atmosphere, friendly service, and most importantly, its consistently delicious offerings.

Stepping into Pain Perdu feels like being transported to a Parisian boulangerie. The aroma of freshly baked bread and pastries fills the air, while the rustic decor and French music create a cozy and inviting atmosphere.

Pain Perdu offers a wide variety of French classics, from flaky croissants and pain au chocolat to savory quiches and sandwiches. Their almond croissants are a standout, with a delicate, buttery crust and a rich, almond filling. The baguettes are equally impressive, perfect for enjoying with a simple spread of butter or alongside a hearty meal.

The staff at Pain Perdu are warm and welcoming, always ready with a smile and a recommendation. They clearly take pride in their work and are passionate about sharing their love of French baking with their customers.

Pain Perdu is a true neighborhood gem, a place where you can always count on finding delicious, authentic French baked goods and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Whether you're stopping in for a quick croissant and coffee or picking up a baguette for dinner, Pain Perdu is sure to satisfy. After two decades, it remains a beloved fixture in the St. Clair West community and a must-visit for anyone seeking a taste of France in Toronto.
