I can understand the rating that other people give to this restaurant but I am giving this restaurant at five star and the reason for this is they've been around for a long time. They are extremely friendly and they serve really the old school Chinese food that was made in catered to western society. I can understand that Toronto has become a lot more diverse since 1984 and people are looking for the authentic Chinese food when they're looking for Chinese food. However, this restaurant delivers a taste of Chinese food from when Chinese food was not popular. They are consistent and the front stuff is extremely friendly. There are small business that have been doing what they're doing for years and they're good at it. In my eyes they deserve five stars.

Love Peking Express! Always delicious, always friendly, Always correct. I was surprised to see some one star reviews saying the food was bad. I have never had a bad experience in the 10 years I've been ordering from them.

This place makes high quality, tasty 'Canadian-Chinese food'. This is by far our favourite takeaway place and we recommend it highly.

I have been coming here for the last three decades, no joke. I started coming here when I was a little girl. The owner, even sponsored my grade school basketball team! Authentic, old-school, no nonsense, Chinese food. Very reasonably priced. They have their own online delivery service so please support them by ordering online versus Uber eats, skip the dishes, etc. A family run business, and they take so much care and pride into preparing delicious food. I love the fried rice - you can never go wrong with traditional fried rice! I love the chicken wings, beef and broccoli. The combos on their website are different from the walk in combos. But both are good. If you're in the area, definitely order some takeout because they have more combos available for walk in specials. Their Szechuan specialties are also outstanding if you can handle spice. They also reading recently added Thai specialties like Pad Thai and green curry, etc. It's great for meat eaters, and soup eaters, those who like chicken and ribs, and also caters to vegetarians!

I have always liked this place, and they were one of the only restaurants in Toronto that still served an EXCELLENT egg roll. They still served a Bean Sprout Egg Roll...instead of a Shredded Cabbage Egg Roll like everyone else. I just tried to order today (April 30, 2020), and was advised they NO LONGER offer egg rolls...just spring rolls. This is VERY disappointing. Now I am on the hunt for another good Chinese Restaurant in Toronto that still serves a Bean Sprout Egg Roll.

I have ordered twice now from this restaurant. The quality is good and the dishes have been consistent. No complaints. Really enjoyed the ginger beef. It is still not quite the same as you might get in Calgary but it was very close. I would definitely recommend Peking Express for great, quick, and fairly priced Chinese food.

Food is great but the price for the portion you receive not so much portions are small for the price. I recommend the Shanghai noodles and General Tao chicken busy location so call ahead for delivery or pick up !
Man. I use to speak very highly of this place. I use to be like, "oh you're going to Peking Express? Lemme just put these pants on and go out in that blizzard with you." Use to have PASSION for PEKING. I remember one time I seent a GIANT dead SQUIRREL on the curb right infront of Peking Express. And the Squirrel was in perfect tact. My friend and I screamed when we saw it (WE WERE SO CLOSE TO IT EW) but then we noticed how shiny its coat was and how thicc it was...the rigamortis had filled out it's figure---OK IM LOSING FOCUS. So I ordered the Chicken Balls combo and there was either beef with it or battered chicken...could not identify via the naked eye ..it was all fried and sauced so I couldn't tell what parts I was eating. That's REALLY crucial info because Peking Express includes those weird cartilage chunks. Do people really eat that? That part's gross. It's not a welcome surprise under breaded meats. Anyway, it was okay.. maybe my fond memories of the "intact" squirrel had me thinking the levels of flavor at Peking Express were intact too 3 Stars!

First time ordering through skip the dishes at this place and it was amazing! I ordered a combination plate and they sent me a 3 person meal. I was in heaven! It came with chicken fried rice, battered chicken, chicken chop suey, beef with veggies, 3 egg rolls, and some kinda fishy smelling soup dip thing. The rice is perfect and the battered chicken is soooo good. First time ever having this type of chicken. The been sprout in the chop suey were super tasty and the beef with veggies was good. Egg rolls were to die for! I didnt eat the soup thing because of the fish smell. Overall everything was super good and will definitely be ordering again from here when im back in town

Ordered multiple rice dishes, they didn't taste very good. The rice tasted burnt and lacked any other flavour. Real shame.

So far the shrimp combo, shrimp sweet and sour platter and cream cheese sweet and sour dumplings has been amazing very happy. Good portions, good prices and very crispy and tasty. Gonna try the sesame balls next which come with 8 an order!
