My wife and I ate at Papi Chulo’s last weekend for dinner and the food was amazing. My wife ordered the Ceviche and I order the chips and pineapple salsa to start. My wife said that ceviche reminded her of the ceviche we had on our honeymoon in Mexico and the pineapple salsa was delicious. We both ordered the taco plates and split them. The chicken and shrimp tacos are both next level . We don’t go into Toronto often but next time we do Papi Chulo’s will be our dinner destination.

We make sure to stop here everything we do a bar night because their food is worth it !! Great juicy tacos with their sauces. Their margarita tower is worth it ! Gives a great buzz. Great for groups of people. They do only do splits of 3.

Been here a bunch of times over the years but this time I went i ordered guacamole and chips. You can never complain about getting too much guac but there was probably 15 chips in the bowl and we had to fully scoop the guac to make the chips last. It was good but unfortunately it got overwhelming because of the lack of chips. Great service tho🤙
Excellent Tacos. My cocktail was a perfect combination to go with as well. I’ve had Latin lover and shrimp tacos. My server, Yirley was friendly , quick service and great recommendations!

I’ve never felt so disappointed with a tipping policy. I went with a group of 5, and while we only ordered one drink total, we were still charged an automatic 20% gratuity. We always tip generously for good service, but in this case it felt unreasonable and unfair — especially since gratuity is usually reserved for larger parties or substantial bills.
The service itself was fine, but the policy comes across as taking advantage of customers rather than rewarding good service. I’d recommend management reconsider how and when gratuity is applied, because this experience left us feeling more frustrated than welcomed.

Food was decent - favourite would be the Birria taco! So flavourful and juicy. Found the fried foods to be a bit on the dry end. Food was served decently quickly.
Came here for patio and seating was what you’d expect, but perhaps because of the paint but we found the tables to feel a bit sticky. Overall, still a good spot to stop by if you’re looking for a casual sit down spot.
