Went for a friend’s birthday. Chill, street-food-style spot with a few tables — more of a casual eatery than a full-on restaurant, although they offer course meal options.

The Tameya (falafel) was crispy and flavourful. The Beef Hawawshi was juicy, though the bread was a bit too soft and soggy for me. The tahini and sauces were excellent.

Simple menu, fair prices, and friendly service overall — though for a birthday table, you’d expect...
Such a wonderful, homey experience. The koshari plate and saffron lemon iced tea were amazing. The Canadiana knafe was okay, I think the classic knafe would have been better. But overall, would love to return!
Best meal I’ve had in a while. The food was extremely flavourful and the owner of the restaurant was extremely lovely. His love and joy for food was evident and I really appreciated that he explained every dish so I could assess which ones I wanted to try! We got the ful sharing plate, the classic koshari plate, and both ice teas (both were superb). Everything was 5/5 and we will def be back!
