Was so excited to try this place, but we came today (Monday) at 1:30pm-ish and they were closed. Looks like some other reviews noted same re: restaurant closed during business hours.

Came for a work dinner and it was absolutely fabulous! The fried yuca is a must-try. I had the T-bone steak—and as you can see, I couldn’t even snap a picture because I was too busy enjoying every bite. Everything was cooked perfectly and full of flavour. Definitely coming back!

Pepito and his Peruvian food is not amazing, his food is the next level honestly. I being there several times. Food is amazing. Ceviche is my favourite, grilled calamari salad is delicious 🤤. Everything is really really good.

Paracas is the best place.

What most atypical experience… I ordered 1 inka cola, 1 choritos a las chalaca, and ceviche mixto.
The choritos were pretty good but something tasted funny. I paid little mind because I was so hungry. I asked the waitress to bring me the traditional Peruvian toasted corn “canchita” but she said they didn’t make those. Weird since it is a garnish that goes with this dish everywhere else you go. I said then bring me some regular Persian corn they didn’t have it either.
I said fine no problem. The ceviche came and something tasted different I asked if they cooked it with yellow or green lime ( yes it makes a huge difference) she said yellow. What a bummer. I politely asked for the menu to order something else because I was not going to eat the ceviche.
A few seconds later an older heavy set guy comes over to clean up the table and tell me that that’s the way they make the ceviche there and that I didn’t need to pay anything. I insisted I wanted to pay for what I ate and he said no it’s okay and walked away.
I felt such disrespect because I wasn’t done eating and his attitude was dismissive to say the least.

We’ve celebrated birthdays, Valentine’s Day, and other special occasions here, always leaving with a smile and a full heart. The food is exceptional, and the owner’s personal attention makes the experience even better. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough!

There was great live music today, a mixture Spanish, oldies jazz etc. The owner was honestly such a lovely guy! He truly works from the heart! One thing he said that I will never forget we are strong with our love and heart! Great family owned restaurant and their heart is in everything they do!

Terrible service, I went with my family thinking of celebrating July 28, from the moment we entered the owner made us feel uncomfortable since from his bar he greeted us with shouts asking what we wanted, then when we asked about the dishes he treated us in a disrespectful way, finally it ended We were served by a very friendly hostess who apologized for the bad treatment and told us that there are always problems with the owner due to his bad character... I have had the opportunity to visit several Peruvian restaurants and we wanted to visit and try this one. Honestly, I would never go back, the food is not the best, the place looks like an old and dark tavern…. The worst experience we have had as a family.

The food was delicious and the service was amazing. We enjoyed all the food we ordered. The menu had so many options. We stumbled upon it walking along St. Clair. We will have many meals there.

We were excited to try this after walking around Salsa Fest. We arrived just before 9pm and the place is packed but they’re able to accommodate us. The menu is nothing special but typical menu choices when you go to a peruvian restaurant. The waitress took our order but came back few minutes after, asking me again which beer I ordered lol; I did not notice her writing our orders to begin with.

They offered us bread in a basket with 3 dippings as a starter. The table has a vase with real chrysanthemum but some small insects flying around the vase that we have to put in on the side.

30 minuted later no one checked in on us and 45 minutes later, we asked the guy how long our food will be served and he said “few more minutes” as they were busy but he will check the kitchen if they’re preparing it or not. A minute or two later, he said they food is not being prepared yet and we just lost it and left. He said no need to worry to pay for the bottle of beer.

The service in this restaurant is way below the Toronto standards, we waited almost an hour for our food only for them to realize they did not get our order. If I can give the service 0 star, I will definitely would!!! Cannot really comment about the food because we only tried the bread. I suggest not to try this restaurant if they are “busy” because your order will be missed like ours.
