Excellent meal -- all dishes were extremely well done. I will be dreaming of that banana cake for weeks. The patio was beautiful.
Overall we had a lovely experience. Everything was good and the service was excellent. I would suggest trying it if you live locally. The ambience is warm and sultry and you will have a nice evening. There was just nothing that was outstanding and nothing that was bad. I would go back but I am not running to go there. The best dishes we ordered were the Pain au Lait with ratatouille and the grilled shrimp. We didn't order the lamb canestri or steak frites which looked delicious so maybe that is what we try next time.
The food was amazing .. It is a wonderful place to try for the first time or it could be your regular place (if you live in the area . ) Whether you sit inside to find or on the patio, your dining experience is memorable.
Every single thing we ate was phenomenal, it has a gorgeous and romantic vibe inside, and service was very attentive and friendly/knowledgable. New fav date spot :)
We ate outside at Parquet last evening and enjoyed every minute! The staff were welcoming, attentive and very helpful navigating the wonderful, classic but inventive menu! We were a party of 3 and shared several appetisers and one main. All extremely tasty!! Don't miss the lovely french cocktails - especially the pisco, blueberry, citrus wonder!!
Service was fantastic! I found the shrimp small plate extremely salty; the mushroom pasta was good but extremely rich. I would order it again. One son had the burger which he said was okay. The other son had two small plates and he enjoyed them. The patio was nicely covered with a nice cross breeze. FYI - You need sun glasses around 7pm due to the sun's level as it hits at eye level. The server brought my son a dessert with candle to celebrate his birthday which I appreciated.
This has become one of my favourite restaurants in Toronto. The food is consistently superb, and even though there menu isn't particularly vegetarian-friendly, I keep going back. Everything about this place is special, from the elegant bistro ambience to the attentive and informed service to the exquisite food. Parquet is in a class by itself.
Loved it! The mains were excellent and our wine was great. The pâté was extremely good, but the onion tart was only ok; we felt the caramelized taste overpowered the leek. Price was what we expected for a fancy date night, though of course we couldn't do it all the time. Beautiful atmosphere.
Had a lovely evening out with friends. We started out sharing the Ontario greens and grilled shrimp. Definitely recommend. Everyone ordered the Terrace hamburger, which was a huge hit. I ordered the halibut filet laid atop the seasonal succotash. Absolutely a beautiful piece if fish. The service and ambiance was lovely. We all would absolutely recommend a visit to Parquet. A true gem.
Our expectations were high and they were met. The food was top notch, serving sizes not too small, the service was solid and the noise level was modest. Look forward to returning!

Food was great, but service was pretty weak. We were sat on the patio for a 9pm reservation and were rushed off the patio while the staff closed up the patio around us. Left a bad taste in our mouth considering we spent a reasonable amount of money on our meal and cocktails. Food was great and no complaints there - really wish they provided better service.
Amazing food there's no question about it. The tables were a little too close together (mind you it's a small spot) service was good not great
Our first time dining with Parquet and we had a wonderful experience from start to finish. Ambience is cozy and classic, and the staff (bar and service) were all friendly from the get go. We appreciated how knowledgeable the staff was with both food and beverage options and we confidently opted for some of their recommendations. The shrimp risotto small plate and the hamachi crudo were perfection. The steak frites was reasonably priced and tasty. Not to mention the pain au lait. It's a must, you won't regret it! We will definitely be back to explore and enjoy more. Thanks again for having us!
Took in-laws from out of town. Staff friendly, smart, bright, helpful. Decor tasteful, contemporary, and had me looking around the room to enjoy it throughout. Food right on point. Focused menu, with new items since my last visit. Each dish beautiful to look at, sophisticated, and tasty. Left the plates clean. Two appetizers - the tartar and carmelized onions. Main - dad the haddock (new item) and the side of greens. Can't share desert as we were running out for an early comedy show, so that's my fault. Look forward to the next visit.
An excellent meal that will bring us back again. The staff was very helpful and friendly. A wonderful experience. Thank you
