Obsessed the mango sticky rice was incredible. I didn’t even get a picture cause I ate it so fast. Owners are lovely too

This is the place for authentic Thai desserts. They offer a variety of traditional Thai sweets (and some Thai dishes) that are hard to find outside of Thailand. Everything is homemade by the incredibly kind owners.

This is a must-visit spot whenever we come to Toronto.

I highly recommend the kanom bueng (Thai crispy crêpes), kanom moh kaeng (egg–taro custard cake), and look chub (beautiful, tiny, fruit-shaped mung bean desserts).

Here's my review of the individual items :
Curry and Potatoes Puff – The puff has a nice flaky and crispy skin with a bit of spice. It taste even better if the puff is heat up.

Flower Coconut Jelly – It’s beautifully made, but it would have been better with a stronger coconut flavour.

Tagoe – I thought it was alright. The coconut flavour is there, but the corn was unchewable. If the corn were softer and the coconut filling a bit more firm, it would have been great.

Mango Black Sticky Rice – The flavour is well-balanced and the mango isn’t sour. What I didn’t like was that the black rice was quite hard; it would be better if it were softer.

I would come back to try the other items.

I was really excited to try the Mango Sticky Rice, especially since there were so many good reviews. It was my first time trying it, but I was very disappointed. The rice wasn’t cooked properly, which completely changed the taste of the dessert. You could really taste the undercooked rice, so I couldn’t enjoy it as I hoped. Such a shame, I was really looking forward to it!

The vegan curry puffs are out of this world delicious. I love that it’s savory potatoes but with hints of sweet. They puff pastry’s are crunchy, savory and sweet all at the same time. Highly recommend visiting them.

What a great little dessert shop! I called ahead for pad Thai and came out with a nice lunch, coconut cakes and mango sticky rice! My kids love the coconut cakes they’re not too sweet. I love stopping in for these unique treats! I thought I had a pic of the desserts but could only find this salad pic I sent to a friend.

Had Patchmon's twice in two days: I was introduced to it by a friend, and introduced it to another few friends in turn. Very friendly service with a smile, delicious treats, brought me back to growing up in South East Asia. Their mango sticky rice included one of the best mangoes I've ever tried. Must visit when I'm in the city. May in fact come back to the city for Patchmon's!
