Terrible experience.
I ordered a $5.00 latte and gave a $1.00 tip.
The lovely woman brought it to the table where I was sitting with my husband.
My husband did not want a coffee but stayed to keep me company
Within a few minutes, a man emerged from the back and chastised my husband for not ordering.
There were only 2 other people in the cafe.
We were embarrassed and tried to apologize for not knowing the rule but were sternly told it is a restaurant and we are only welcome if everyone orders.
I am so insulted.
We will never go back.

Really bad customer service. First time I went there, and for sure it'll be the last.
We were a party of 5 and three of us ordered while the other two sat at the table thinking what to order.
The owner approach us and advice us that only three of us had ordered something. He told us either to order or leave. We certainly felt like leaving in that precise moment. It really was a disturbing thing to say to customers.

Terrible experience. Service so unfriendly. Waitress never smiles (second time there). though she does to seem to do so to some other known clientele/locals. The gentleman in the kitchen, no better

We came in a group of 5 and in no time this man from the kitchen approached us and said only 3 of us had ordered, and that either we all had to consume or we had to go.

He specifically told us that the cafe was not a Community Centre to spend time at.

New in the area, but we are NEVER coming back again

I've always had good experiences at Sebastions. I love their Salad and Danishes with a pot of tea. It's a pleasant environment. The owners are quiet pleasant prople.

This place easily ranks as one of the top five bakeries in Toronto for French pastries. It’s a family run operation with an extreme focus on detail and quality. Their pastries are made on premise daily by the owner who is a former Parisian.

This place is a bit of a throw back to a simpler time whereby the emphasis was on creating high quality products. I’ve sampled most of their menu and you can’t go wrong with any selection. Today I tried something new. The cinnamon brioche and the pain chocolate croissant. Fresh out of the oven and absolutely perfect.

Worth a visit. The pastries are not cheap so be forewarned. If you’re not seeking pastry excellence, you’re better off buying croissants in bulk from a big box store.

This bakery is in a complexly different league and you can expect to pay quality and excellence. And…the husband wife duo that own this place are incredibly pleasant and friendly.

Such a bad experience. Went to this "Patisserie" a little after 9 am this morning (they open at 9). Ordered a ham/cheese croissant and a pastry, and want to eat while we are there. They took the pastries inside, when they brought it to the table, I took one look at it, took a bit, my worst fear ...... they microwaved the croissant!! All the flakiness, texture of the croissant, GONE. I brought it back to the counter and ask to have it exchanged, the gentleman (in an apron, assuming he is the baker? owner?) I mentioned the microwave made the croissant soft and chewy. He said the croissants are cold and he can only heat it up in the microwave. Cold? After I insisted, he reluctantly handed me a ham & cheese croissant, and yes, the croissant is cold, fridge cold.
I would expect to walk in a pastry shop in the morning and get fresh baked pastries, not something that is cold and need reheat in the microwave. Especially flaky croissant!
And by the way, this stone cold croissant is $6.50 + tax

A lovely French patisserie. Everything baked fresh. If you have a must buy get there early. They serve Italian coffee to make the perfect coffee break.

We met two friends there. We had a great time. The food was delicious, especially the Quiché. I gave the one with mushrooms and vegetables a try, and it was absolutely perfect. The staff (apparently, a family) were friendly. The pâtisserie is so good that it won't be left much after a few hours. The coffee was perfect and I loved the latte. I will definitely try it again.

Showed up at their opening time, and found a sign saying they were opening 30 min late. Came back 45 min later and was told the remaining pastries had been reserved for others. Not a great experience. Also, very limited selection in general.

Prices have been increasing over the years. Pastries are good. But too pricey now for me.
