Great selection of seafood cooked with Korean influence. Really enjoyed the oyster selection
If you’re an oyster lover, this place is a must! The oysters were incredibly fresh—sweet, briny, and served perfectly chilled. What made the experience even better was the friendly and knowledgeable shucker, who took the time to explain where each oyster came from and made great recommendations. The atmosphere was laid-back and welcoming. A great spot to enjoy quality seafood and great service. I’ll definitely be back!
Food was delicious. Second time here and although their service is good, I had trouble finding my waiter the second visit.
The scallops was amazing!! Everything we ordered was delicious!
Amazing seafood and Oyster specials. Great vibes and high level of service. Always the go to when craving the best seafood in the city!
Great Seafood!
Mandatory 18% tip for service that doesn’t even deserve 8%. Rushed and untrained from one of our servers. Fish was fresh, well prepared, and fairly priced. Strong Korean influences were sometimes not compatible with the dishes, but overall pleasant and unique. Due to the service however, I won’t be returning.
Visited with a table of 6. Kitchen was unable to serve all of us at the same time, several waiting for their appies and mains.
Raw bar was iffy. The shrimp cocktail was very not good. It had been in a fridge for a long time, the skin was dehydrated. Cocktail sauce is definitely ketchup.
Oyster platter missing something spicy. Again, ketchup-based sauce as a serving. A few of the shucks were questionable; we did not eat them.
The best food is from the Korean menu. Stellar Korean food, but pricey for kimchi and rice.
Great food
Great place with distinct vibe. The seafood was cooked excellent.
Restaurantji Recommends
Don't eat the burger
I am sick from it.
Delicious fresh seafood. Exceptional service. Reasonably priced. Tried the oysters, lobster sliders, seared tuna, grilled mackerel and diver scallops. Was tough to pick a favourite.
The lobster sliders were veeery good. Everything tasted well but i think the sea food tower should have a little more of something. Staff was very prompt.
Pearl Diver has always been a favourite of mine - the fresh raw bar, the mains that are perfection and the most wonderful ambience. Last night I hosted a large group dinner in their private room and it was 10/10 - would highly recommend PD for everything from date night to a big gathering. Can't wait to go back!
Brought my friend here for an early dinner because I really liked the food, service, and vibe the previous times I've been here. Unfortunately, today was different.
We got a seafood tower and calamari. The food was delicious but our server came to take the tower away even though there were still oysters left on the tower. Happened again with the mussels, she picked up the dish (clearly with mussels left) and asked if we were done with it. Felt like we were being rushed even though we were only there for 1.5 hours total and didn't start eating until the half an hour mark (the restaurant was only half full). Even if we didn't order drinks, this was the most rushed I've ever felt dining somewhere.
We were then charged an automatic gratuity of 18% with the bill for a party of two (!). Prior to my friend arriving, I asked the server to make sure I pay because I was bringing my friend here but when my friend went to go pay (before the meal was finished), the server let it happen and ignored my previous request and the fact that I made the reservation. My friend also let me know that the card machine asked for another tip after the 18% gratuity was already included in the total (!?!).
This was such an embarrassing experience and I regret bringing my friend here. I don't think I will come back here.
