Walking along Harbord looking for a good cup of coffee. I asked some locals who led me here, to Pedaal. Boy was I impressed. The coffee was 10/10. I had an Americano which the owner explained to me was a Brazilian bean from a high altitude which I believe was roasted in Montreal. Regardless. It was VERY good. I bought the beans. This is a passion of the owner who used to home roast / brew before opening the store.

yummy cookies, and drinks, love the interior design as well. shoutout to the lovely staff <3
So happy when they moved in -- both sides of the business are top notch. A wonderful cafe with VERY GOOD coffee, super friendly staff and an great vibes (so nice to sit on the patio in good weather and watch the world go by). And their bike services are excellent. They've helped me several times with small emergencies and did a fine job tuning up my bike.

Very quaint, very quiet, very cute — provided you're able to ignore the eyesore that Harbord St is at the moment!
I just got a simple drip coffee and it was delicious. Even better were the very kind baristas who treated the kiddos like stars (and humored me and my long list of book recs). I will definitely go back whenever I'm in the neighborhood (aka shopping at Bakka-Phoenix Books).

The guys and girls here are amazing, helped me multiple times with my Brompton, last time needed a new rear wheel, didn’t have it in stock so they took it of a display bike just to help me out.
Great service and the coffee is also good.

Grabbed a coffee here and checked out some awesome bikes. They have indoor/outdoor seating and allow dogs as well. Friendliest bike shop I’ve been to!

Came for a Sunday afternoon coffee. Their summer menu drinks are delicious - the zesty espresso is very refreshing and the espresso is high quality (no bitter aftertaste). The chocolate chip cookie with sea salt is classic and well balanced. Everything reasonably priced, and the vibes and service inside are top tier. It’s not too busy mostly due to the construction on Harbord, but worth the walk!

I recently purchased a Brompton C Line Electric with the help of Eric, and the service was outstanding. I visited the store with my family, and the whole team made us feel incredibly welcome. Highly recommend Pedaal for anyone looking for Brompton bikes and great customer care!

I was surprised with a blown out tire on my morning ride. Luckily steps away was Pedaal! Tim was an absolute pleasure! Immediately jumped in to help me fix my bike to help me get home. Great coffee and the friendliest staff ever

Honestly couldn't be happier. Took my 2017 Brompton in for service and found out the guy who sold me my bike at Curbside Cycle worked here! Small world. My brommy was in desperate need of some TLC. I use it everyday to commute to work. It hasn't been professionally serviced in years. They did a fantastic job, even added in some extras (Thank you!). It feels and rides like it's brand new.
