The food was good but the waitress had a terrible attitude. Felt like she hated our presence or people in general. 😓
Will not risk bringing people there again..

Wow! This Belgian restaurant is next level. The owner even gave me a brief history lesson about his home country—so welcoming and friendly. Highly recommend! Definitely a highlight of my trip to Toronto from the States.

For those who are downtown near St Lawrence and like a more private place with good options for breakfast and brunch, this restaurant is definitely a great option.

The building is located across from George Brown College on King Street, and is home to several shops. It has a very pleasant atmosphere, with old-fashioned decorations, good and fast service, and orders also arrive very quickly.

The menu has a great variety of savory and sweet dishes, and good drink options, including alcoholic ones. The prices are not expensive and it is worth checking out.

We ordered Waffles Melody. Waffles were light and best. We also ordered 3 cheese Omelette. I loved their Apple Slaw. Also, played darts here

Great service and a comfortable atmosphere, but the food quality didn’t meet expectations for the price.

Brunch portions were small and basic. There are more innovative, better value options nearby.

Sourdough Waffles were nice but pairing felt incomplete with just 1 egg , tiny bit of syrup and very little ‘apple salad’ leaving lot to be desired.

Vegetarian options: Plenty

Amazing food, amazing coffee & hot drinks, and amazing service. Would definitely recommend & return. Janice was our server and she was very friendly and helpful, ensuring we had a great experience. The food was no short of amazing. Small space & tight seating but this restaurant definitely makes the most of it. Thank you for a great meal!

For our anniversary, my wife took me to breakfast downtown. She loves eggs Benedict, and found this restaurant via chat gpt of all things. It’s cozy, has character, and the food was excellent. My wife claimed the eggs Benedict were the best she’s tasted. Apparently, to make eggs Benedict requires perfect timing to get them just right, which they have mastered.

Heather was our waitress. She was lovely and very attentive. We found out that Johannes, the owner, is from Belgium. He uses antique Belgian waffle irons to get a unique shape and has to work hard to keep the machines operational. He also apparently uses a leavened recipe, which produces amazingly light, fluffy waffles - it’s a family recipe.

I hear there are often lineups to get a table on weekends. I’m not surprised. We plan to take my kids there over the holidays. We can’t recommend it highly enough. It’s easy to pay more for an inferior meal. I prefer to support local businesses over corporate conglomerates. In this case, you gat vastly superior service, food, and setting. It’s an easy choice to make.

This has become our go-to brunch spot! Their waffles are light and crunchy. I didn’t think I would like their apple slaw but they’re absolutely delicious! Their Benny waffles only come with one egg but they also have bennies without the waffles that come with two. The fresh juices are also a must have!

Food was average. Ordered a Spanish coffee, just a few drops of rum in there watered-down coffee. Cist me $20. My eggs were pre salted and peppered, which I didn't like. Smoked salmon was extremely salty. Only one server, the bartender who looked like it, didn't want to be there at all. Will not recommend this place.

Came to Toronto for a couple of shows, and hit Le Petite Déjeuner for breakfast after a recommendation from the hotel. As we walked up we were assured that we were in for a good experience as there was a long queue outside (on a chilly day in December) so it must be worth it and it was. Had the spinach and Brie omelette, so fluffy and flavourful. From the food, to the service to the old episodes of UFO on the television it was truly a fulfilling experience and worthy of its praise and reputation.
