How can it taste better than it did 20 years ago?!
The spices were dancing on my tongue with every bite 🤤 Worth every one of the 17k steps to get here before 9 — and done! 💥
Pho Hung, you never disappoint.

Worst Banh Xeo I've ever had! couldn't finish the dish, the pancake was thick and unevenly cooked, had no coconut taste whatsoever, the meet and veggies inside - extremely soggy.
Fried rice wasn't fried at all! Just rice with peas and boiled chicken pieces.
We also had chicken noodles. Tasted ok, but noodles were mushy as hell!
The service was also slow, trying to get get waiters attention for 15 min to order the food or get the bill.
Do not recommend this place
Food was near cold. Service was sub-par. Only accepts cash, but there is an atm in the basement that charges you. So many better pho options in Toronto. Save your money!
China town is different with 10+ years. Many old restaurants disappeared. HUNG is my number 1 authenic pho in Toronto. $12 for small and $16 for large pho you can't beat other(in my living area is $18 for small pho). The taste is always the same and much meat inside 😋.
They didn't give us change, the food was very good.

Portions are small and it was stinky
Only gave it 4 stars bc they've got a very limited pho menu and no authentic Sriracha. Otherwise, broth was very tasty and definitely worth the price

Pho Hung offers a dining experience that stands out in the best way. From the moment you step in, the old and vintage vibe of the place draws you in, giving it a cozy, nostalgic charm. While the setting may not be modern, it adds a unique character that makes the experience memorable.
One thing that struck me as unique was their ordering system. Instead of the usual menus, we noted down serial numbers from the menu onto a paper to place our order. It was different but easy to follow, adding to the experience.
The food and drinks here are what truly shine. I tried both the cold and hot coffee, and they were absolutely on another level. Served with a traditional filter and condensed milk, the flavors were rich and authentic—definitely a highlight. We also ordered some spring rolls and noodles, both of which were delicious and well-prepared.
The staff was friendly and added to the welcoming atmosphere, making the visit even more enjoyable. A heads-up: they only accept cash, but they’ve conveniently provided an ATM machine on-site.
Overall, Pho Hung is a wonderful spot for anyone looking for great food, a vintage atmosphere, and a unique dining experience. I’d definitely recommend it!

Got the pho and got to choose my 3 meats. Not sure what went wrong but something made my stomach hurt soooo much by the time I finished my pho. It hurt for the rest of the night, it was like a really bad cramp with a stomachache... also what's ridiculous is there's an $8 charge if you want to share a bowl of pho?!
