Ordered the French onion grilled cheese which takes about 10-15 minutes to prepare. It was so good! The bread is a thicker toast, similar to milk bread, and it was nicely toasted and not at all greasy. The filling was cheesy, sweet, and savoury. If you’re getting any grilled cheese, I would recommend eating it right when they serve it up so the cheese is still nice and melted 😋 definitely coming back to try their other sandwiches.

Smashing IT! 🥰🥓🍳🥰

The best place for a breakfast sandwich and the best place for a grilled cheese sandwich right here a Phancy's Bodega in the heart of the west-end of the city.

Nestled along Dundas Street West, just around the corner from Dundas West Station lies a gem of a secret and it's called Phancy's Bodega.

They are serving some of the most delicious breakfast sandwiches.

What I really love about these Breakfast Sandwiches is that they're not too heavy, they're just perfect to get the day started on a positive vibe. Your tummy will be satisfied, but feel so overly full that you need a nap.

The coffee is fresh and piping hot and is a great accompaniment to any of their breakfast sandwiches or grilled cheese.

If you're looking to order any of their many grilled cheese sandwiches better get their earlier or order on-line because they sell out fast!

That's how delicious they are.

So if you're in the mood for some great comfort food, then look no further than Phancy's Bodega.

The customer service, the vibe and the food is an outstanding A+++!

This is the place where your taste buds will thank you for visiting.

I enjoyed chatting to the lovely gals behind the counter - and obviously the subs are delicious. The bread is soft, chewy and a tiny bit crispy on the outside, and I could taste that the ingredients are quality. Bonus: High Park is around the corner :)

I ordered a hoagie (sandwich) Today and it was the best sandwich I’ve eaten in the 3+ years that I’ve lived in this country. I come from the land of the hoagie, New Jersey/Philadelphia and this sandwich could hold its own for anything that I’ve had there. I miss the food from my region so much but what a delight to have found this place.

We ordered the holiday dinner for four this Christmas and it was incredible. Made things so easy on the day of. The turkey may have been the best I've ever had. The stuffing balls were absolutely amazing and I loved the chalet style gravy and the smoked cranberry sauce. But the milk biscuits were definitely my favourite part, which I dipped in the sipping broth. The whole meal was excellent and it was nice to try so many new flavours for Christmas dinner.

The price was great for all the food you get, the heating instructions were straightforward and easy and we did indeed have leftovers. If they do this again next year we will definitely be doing it again! Picked up on Christmas Eve, served on Christmas Day. So good!

I was just there sort of invested in giving this place a try after seeing it around for a while and so I finally did. None of their baguette sandwiches are toasted so I ordered the All Day breakfast. I had one bite and was filled with disappointment.

I Can’t believe I paid $21 after tip for a single fried egg on a regular white bread slice, this place is robbery… Jesus Christ. I don’t leave reviews ever but wow what a RIP OFF.

Unbelievable price. Mediocre sandwich. I asked for hot sauce and ketchup on my sandwich and it came on the side instead.

There’s nothing special about the flavour or prep, very standard run of the mill item.

If you have ever heard of EGG CLUB they do sandwiches 5x as good for literally half the price. Their chicken club breakfast is a testament to good food for just 10 bucks and that comes with a 2 egg scrambled patty, and a grilled chicken breast with bacon etc.

I’ll never go here again and I’ll be turning friends away if they ask me about it.

Pretty average sandwich experience for the price. The roast beef sandwich is kind of flavorless.

Phancy’s Bodega does the best sandwiches in the city. I’ve tried a number of trendy sub shops in Toronto, but nothing hits & is as satisfying as Phancy’s. I’ve ordered the “Buffalo Chicken Salad Hoagie” at least 4 times on UberEats and it is SO good & delivers well. Perfect blend of textures, good spice level, as well as being both acidic & creamy. The staff also surprised me with an extra cookie because I was having a bad day. Can’t recommend Phancy’s enough! 🫶

I stumbled upon Phancy a few weeks ago and bought a bunch of their awesome to-go items (LOVED the tomato soup and pho broth, as I'm also a big fan of Ca Phe Rang). The staff just happened to be updating their POS system, but they worked super hard to honour their discount offer for the frozen items. I also bought a ticket for a later date to get their Pho dip sandwich. While I stupidly missed their several calls and emails to pick up my order (had a crazy work day), their diligence to alert me that they were waiting and staying open later just for me to pick up my sandwich was a total testament to how awesome and caring their staff is. Great people doing a fantastic job with exceptional food quality. A must try if you're between the junction and roncy!

I tried a bacon lettuce egg sandwich in the morning. It looked a bit smaller than I expected, but I liked it. The bacon was perfectly crispy and the lettuce was fresh. I would try their lunch sandwiches next time. They carry frozen meals, chocolate, chips, sauce and much more!
