Had lunch at Pho Junction near Dundas St W and Pacific Ave. Started with the fried tofu, served hot and crispy with a soft centre. The Bún giò thịt, gà /grilled pork, chicken, a spring roll, and fresh herbs over vermicelli — light yet filling. Also tried the Durian Coffee, rich and creamy with bits of durian on top. Portions were generous enough to take some home. Gordon was friendly and service was quick. Worth a visit.
I don’t understand the negative reviews personally. I’ve ordered from here a handful of times, both eating at the restaurant and through delivery apps. The food is delicious! They have the tastiest spring rolls I’ve had in this city, an absolute must-try. I find myself craving their pho, both for the broth and the noodles which are definitely hand-made. I’ve only been recently since the name changed to Pho Junction so I don’t have a reference from earlier times, but I enjoy the food. It’s not especially cheap but I think the prices are reasonable and exactly what you would expect in this economy.

Julii-amazing server we saw all the bad reviews on google map, but it was raining so we had to try this Vietnamese spot, even when we were not sure at all. And we don't expect anything. but the server completely changed our night. we took a long time to order, but she kept smiling the whole time, helped us choose good food, and waited for us. we love peanut sauce. but the problem, we ordered chicken rice which usually comes with/ fish sauce, but Julii gave us extra peanut sauce for free, other Vietnamese places always charge for that. The chicken was juicy, the rice was delicious, and there was so much of it that we couldn't finish, big shoutout to julii for being so kind and making our night so nice

Ordered chicken pho. No white meat and chicken full of grizzle fat and tendons. Scraped off the bone. Broth smelled off as well. Disgusting, did not eat. Very poor quality.
Absolutely loved this place. Great value for money, and grilled meat with rice vermicelli was one of the best I’ve ever had. Will definitely come back! I had an amazing lunch in here

Finally, the Vietnamese shop near my house started selling banh mi! I ordered the grilled beef meatball banh mi with extra house-made pâté, and it was honestly beyond my expectations. The price was also much cheaper compared to other sandwich places in the area like Subway. Their chili sauce is homemade too, and it perfectly matched the level of spiciness I love. I’ll definitely be coming back to try other kinds of banh mi
